My name is Aaron Wolfe, a student columnist for The Daily Egyptian - the student newspaper for Southern Illinois University Carbondale. I was also a precint captain for Ron Paul's presidential campaign, am currently working on a novel, and will soon be a certified secondary educator.
I got into writing columns because I was tired of the apathetic disposition of my generation. I'm tired of watching my country fall apart without a fight. My original passion was to write fiction, but I became too incensed by the goings-on of today's world to stay silent.
I'm ready for a fight and I'll defend my positions, this country, and every tuly patriotic American to my last breath. .
And I sincerely hope you'll join me in this endeavor.
I'm also an extremely complex person - and if I can ever fit a true description of who I am in a box, then I've lost my own battle against becoming a boring person.
"Dullness is ever apt to magnify." - Alexander Pope
This is a collection of writings and columns by Aaron Wolfe on the American experience - the good, the bad, the ugly, and the bizzare.
This is more than a column. It is a call to action.
