” Blessed are the Children.. for the shall inherit the National Debt”. Moms for Liberty come in all shapes , sizes, creeds and religions but, there is one characteristic, one common thread that uniquely weaves us into the fabric of society.. Intelligence! It is our right and responsibility to uphold the ideals this country was founded on and to pass on the baton of Freedom and Liberty to our children.. the next generation.
Why should the idea of Liberty be the centerfold in the raising of our Children? First we need to secure a future for them that is not going to enslave them with an insurmountable debt. This will never lend them the opportunity to achieve prosperity. We are leaving them an inheritance of a bankrupt nation which, has forsaken FREEDOM and LIBERTY! Taking a “Common Sense” approach adopted from Thomas Paine, our fight for our freedom and liberty is the same as our founding fathers fought for. They embraced the responsibility of defending the next generation's Liberty! Has our generation forgotten that “The American Dream” is about INDEPENDENCE? Have we become complacent during economically good times that “The American Dream” is EASE OF PROSPERITY? Have we forgotten what independence means? Independence is the right to thrive or fail according to your own merits and choices.
Our government's attempt at taking away our liberty is packaged as a solution for our “protection”, but it cannot be for our protection or our good to take away our independence. Our founding fathers fought England when they claimed they were giving us protection while robbing basic human rights. We all know the story of the Boston Tea Party! This goes beyond the scope of Taxation without Representation. The price the government will ultimately ask for this type of “PROTECTION” is to forfeit our INDEPENDENCE and LIBERTY. We must instill these truths and values into our children to better equipt them to carry the torch of Freedom.
It is our RIGHT as parents not to have the government dictate how to raise our children beginning with education. We have the right to determine which venue of education is best aligned with our beliefs and values. Should we have to be forced to allow the government school system to dictate through our public schools so as to indoctrinate our children to be obedient robots? To home school or not to home school It is OUR decision. It is our independent responsibility to make all choices concerning the education of our children. YOU are your child's BEST Teacher! Whether it be not to spank, or in what manner they need to be taught about sex education, mandating vaccines or protecting your children, YOU the parent knows what is best! We decide the best course for the development and enrichment of our children! To embrace Liberty is to embrace Life! To embrace Liberty is to secure a Free nation in which, our children have the REAL Hope of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.
And last but, not least it is our DUTY to protect our children! We hold strong to upholding and preserving the true meaning of the Second Ammendment. Are we to sit quietly back and TRUST that the government and it's authorities are going to safe guard your family from enemies be it foreign or domestic? What about the “Costs of War”? In his radio address to the nation on December 9th, 1941, President Roosevelt did his best to substitute the inspirational word “privilege” for the economically correct word, “sacrifice.” This was a way to describe costs as benefits. Can we see a trend here in the creative packaging of the catch phrases of today's Pop Culture Government? Does “Hope and Change”?, “Everyone deserves a FAIR SHARE?”, “It is in the BEST interest of the People?” and my favorite… “We OWE it to OURSELVES!” sound like a solution to our country's issues? Fluffy catch phrases that tickle the ears and instill a false sense of security! YOU are the one person who should have complete control over your Labor. YOU have control over YOUR children. YOUR Freedom and Security and ultimately YOUR Independence is YOUR duty to defend and uphold.
In closing I would like to quote a passage from Thomas Paine's “Common Sense”
“You cannot control the economy without controlling people. Liberty and Independence are the costs to be paid for economic ease. Only the uneducated and slothful would trust a government, more than themselves with their independence and ask them to fix the economy.”Tweet
