With the end of his remarkable presidential campaign, Congressman Ron Paul made two big announcements. First, he introduced his new Campaign for Liberty, an organization to help elect libertarian-leaning citizens to public office. Also, Paul called for a big rally on September 2nd in St. Paul, Minnesota. The rally, which will be at the University of Minnesota, will coincide with the Republican National Convention a few miles away. Paul hopes to draw at least 11,000.
But with all the hype of this Minnesota rally, left out of the spotlight is the other rally Paul called for a couple months ago – the March in Washington, DC.
All the information about the July 12th march and rally can be found at www.revolutionmarch.com.
From the website regarding details of the rally following the march:
We hope to have the stage also designed in a colonial motif. After the speakers, we intend to round off the event with entertainment. Comedy and music are our ideals with perhaps a “Surprise” guest as the finale. Marc Scibilia, Jordon Page, and Pokerface are our featured musical acts.
