“Like the Old Man, has the reality of living free become a mere memory, freedom lying in rubble at the foot of a globally despised neo-con empire?” – Nolan Chart author Creator.
The word would be unrecognizeable to our founding fathers today. From the time of our countries founding until about 1960 it meant freedom from the government. Freedom to do what you thought best without some beauracracy getting in your way.

Free – Healthcare
Free – Education
Free – Pension
Free – Housing
Free – Food
Free – Entertainment
Well the price of gold today at new record highs is showing what that type of freedom will bring you – bankruptcy.
I've supported Ron Paul with my money, my time, and my words. Primarily because I believe in what he stands for, but in part because I wanted to see if I had mis-judged my fellow Americans. Maybe there really was a silent majority that had finally gotten fed up and wanted Uncle Sam out of their lives.
Well, by and large, and being generous, we possibly say that at most only 10% of Americans feel that way – are Libertarians, satisfied with the results of their own honest labors and not interested in taking anything from their neighbors.
I'm a fighter, but I don't like those odds. I think at this point the best plan is to keep our powder dry. Invest in gold and silver, continue to spread the truth of freedom, and wait until the inevitable pain from consequences of todays actions create a more receptive audience to our ideas.
