Yellow Journalism, yellowcake, and yellow-bellied cowards.
by Russell G. Davis (centrist)
Published: March 23, 2011
The coverage of the Japanese Nuclear crisis was a journalistic disgrace for the most part. The most sensationalistic elements ruled the headlines as day after day passed and heroic progress in averting a meltdown was being made. When the Press behaves like this it shoots itself in the foot along with the public it supposedly serves! The Right is unforgiving once the story is settled and then they don't have to make things up about a liberal bias!

Rationalizing the Irrational
by Larry Warrick (libertarian)
Published: January 10, 2011
Oh, yes. Politics will be spun, lies will pass straight-faced through the elite-owned media, and outrageous language will issue from those talking heads, cravenly kneeling at their masters' feet as they beg scraps from the table. May their chains weigh lightly on their wrists as they obediently lick the hands that feed them.

Did Big Ben Get Smeared Again?
by Paul Benedict (libertarian)
Published: April 21, 2010
The case files released this week in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette are far less damning for Ben Roethlisberger than the outrage expressed by Commissioner Goodell suggest. However, the soon to be released pictures of Roethlisberger in the Capital City Bar may mar his reputation irreparably. They won't show criminal behavior, only the pathetically human failings that we cannot accept in our multi-million dollar icons.

by B. S. Kalafut (libertarian)
Published: August 27, 2009
Both opponents and supporters of the Obama Administration's health care reform proposals have been openly carrying weapons to demonstrations, leading some to worry about armed clashes between supporters of market reform and supporters of the "public option". Journalistic exaggeration, perhaps inadvertent, may be causing people to be far more worried than is warranted.
