Federal Reserve (or FED) articles on the organization enacted by the government in 1913 that is the United States' Central Bank. Current chairman is Ben Bernanke, successor to Alan Greenspan. The FED manipulates America's monetary policy, but whether it is to the detriment or enrichment of American citizens is up for debate.
