Middle East Affairs
by Edu Montesanti Goldoni (liberal)

About The Author

Brazilian, Eduardo Montesanti Goldoni was born at Laranjal Paulista, a small town in São Paulo State.

I'm totally against any kind of war and believe we can live in a better world where prevails justice and solidarity, so I defend Socialism, not free-market, individualism and unlimited competition under the rules of trade. It' urgent to substitute the culture of competition nd individualism for the reality of collaboration and affectionate relation.

I really thank Jesus, who has changed my life, for joining the Nolan Chart and may our friend and life giver Christ be with us here, helping us to grow together and build a nice place to live! Without war and hunger...

Please leave your opinion, disagreement, criticism, suggestions, etc.

God bless the US, Brazil and the world

About The Column

Welcome to Edu Montesanti Goldoni's column!

Here we write about

Middle East Affairs

We queston this mockery of "War on Terror", showing through clear facts and arguments,  and through our sources in Afghanistan, that such a US fight is nothing but a search for ecnomic and regional interests in the region, not peace and security as politicians are used to saying - which lie costs billions and billions of dollars for US taxpayers, and the lives of its soldiers... and, we regret to say, lives of more North-Americans inside the country: the world is not more secure as George Bush used to say last years, but it is much, much more dangerous - maybe dangerous more than never.

We can change, reverse the situation, we believe so. It is still time. But to do that we have to change our state of mind, open our eyes to reality. The reality is shown here, the reality that the world media does not show. Other is its show, a show of a commercial journalism which strongly has helped to become this world so troubled, to the service of these bandits of world politics, defending the interests of the mega companies.

9/11 and "War on Terror": Politicians Are Clever - People Are the Problem
Published: September 15, 2009
Taking into account the unsuccessful 9/11 Commission and the disastrous "War on Terror" aftermath, it is clear that there is a side totally wrong and isolated from the real debate on world terrorism. Far from us having the only answer and being able to close the debate, we analyze the reality inside Afghanistan and find two alternatives to understand what the world is witnessing on "fight on terror". Feel free to choose one option

International Media Distorted Statements of Afghan Women's Leader
Published: June 22, 2009
Malalai Joya granted an outspoken interview to a Brazilian website, giving explosive revelations on US occupation in Afghanistan, totally cut and shamefully modified by the reporter. Bad luck to world mafia: Ms. Joya sent us, exclusively, the original version. We publish "both interviews" here, and analyse how works the tendentious media, down on its knees before this mockery of war on terror. The more time goes by, the more clearly we see the puppets in the Empire. Prepare yourself to cry. Prepare yourself to vomit with us

A Flower Sprouts Among Stones in Afghanistan
Published: May 18, 2009
Is there any hope to Afghanistan? Yes, there is! In the country of the Taliban and so feared warlords, the Afghan hope lies on its combatant men, and on its several brave women. To them our admiration, solidarity and prayer; to Malalai Joya our following words of love - just because she has been giving her life away, after being expelled from the Afghan Parliament for denouncing the warlords - drug traffickers. Joya will never be killed, and her voice will be forever the voice of her people

BEHIND THE SUPERPOWER CURTAINS - Genocide in Gaza, and What the World Does Not Know About the US, Al-Qaeda and the "War on Terror"
Published: January 14, 2009
Palestine and Afghanistan bleed. Children has been killed, beheaded, raped - including by the Coalition forces. Until when will they pretend they fight terror, in the name of God, or oil, and we pretend we believe it? Explosive (and documented) revelations involving the US policy in the Middle East, from Mr. Carter to George Bush the son, contesting the "war on terror" and the Israeli bombardment in Gaza. The UN and the world media trumpet about terrorist acts of individuals and groups. Nothing about terrorism of State. Hiding behind democratic speeches and liberation for others, Bush carries Branham's theology too far, based on the"power of the American sword", exterminating nations. We unmask the superpower and its "war on terror", describing as well the childish suffering in Palestine and Afghanistan. A generation lost. A future lost

Retrocession: Shoes at Head - Bush's Farewell Could Not Be Worst
Published: December 20, 2008
The Bush administration has for ever metaphorically been marked by the shoes thrown. Is there any better symbol to enclose his long eight years at the White House?

Anna Politkovskaya Award' 2008 for MALALAI JOYA - THE BRAVEST WOMAN IN AFGHANISTAN
Published: October 22, 2008
Hated by some in her homeland, beloved and awarded all over the world. Joya's voice echoes as a challenge to the Taliban and feared warlords; a synonym of hope to the Afghan people

GASOLINE ON FIRE - Bush's Wrong Policy in the Middle East - Change or Not to Change? That's the Point
