As I was growing up in the Midwest I thought that I was basically a conservative republican. The more that I got interested in politics the more that I got confused at how issues got split down party lines. The trouble was that I didn't. After a while I figured out that I was fiscally conservative and socially not so conservative. It wasn't until a couple of years ago that I started reading about Libertarianism and I feel that I've found a new political home.
