About The Author

I am owner, editor and publisher of the website, www.libertarianplace.com. I am an officer of my county chapter of the Libertarian Party and have represented Illinois on the national level of the party on  the Platform Committee and as delegate to the national convention.

I am also owner of Writers Block Productions and Libertarian World Media which is a program of Writer's Block. I am a published author and poet, including three novels, one of which has a Libertarian theme. I am also a motivational speaker and a speaker on political topics. My creative and media ventures are based from  website www.johnwingspreadhowell.com 

I have a background in theology, psychology and finance. I currently own a Financial Security Practice representing one of America's most admired financial companies.

About The Column

Slightly edgy commentary on current events or issues from a Libertarian perspective. The purpose of this column is to take on the issues often considered more radical and/or difficult for Libertarians to sell to the general electorate, in a way that grabs your attention but also demonstrates that there's something in it for soccer moms and NASCAR dads, to advance the Libertarian agenda.
