I am 62, live with a beautiful and very bright woman, enjoy cats, shooting, opera and photography.
I grew up in Illinois and forged very indivdualistic habits there, spent 19 years in Hawaii on radio and 20 years in Alaska in radio and TV.
I now live in Bellingham, WA and enjoy the more moderate winters and clean air here.
I have three intelligent kids who are all on their own.

About The Column
I have written since I was nine! I wrote for the Army, for radio shows for over 25 years and a TV news program for three years.
My columns are political, philosophical and deal with matters of justice. I have also written symphonic and operatic reviews since I was sixteen.
I am a Rand/Rothbard kind of libertarian and am not shy about writing in this direct, clear manner. In other words if a politician such as Obama (Or Billary or McCain) makes some kind of confused, mostly socialist remark to the press I will say just that...his remark was confused and socialist and warn people to stay away.
I am also unabashedly FOR Ron Paul who I believe has ably and honestly been the apostle for freedom and individual rights for his entire career in Congress.
Should I continue?
