About The Author
Pastor Tim Rowland is the Pastor of a small church in Las Vegas, NV. He is happily married to his wife of 15 years, and is the father of 3 beautiful children.
Tim grew up in Mexico as the son of Baptist missionaries. He speaks pretty good Spanish, and even better Spanglish (a language well known along our border with Mexico)
There isn't a topic upon which Tim has no opinion, so he has taken to writing out his thoughts instead of boring his poor pre-teen children.

Religion and politics don't mix, they say, but have you noticed how there are absolutley no areas of life left that are not affected by politics?
Even the tax-exempt status of churches and ministries is held in check by politics. As long as these 'religious' institutions do not offend the 'political' powers that be, it is live and let live.
I am not afraid to proclaim that my faith informs my worldview and my politics. It is for this reason i have chosen to write out my views and opinions as an individual and not as the head of a 'religious organization.'

I took my children to see Ben Stein's movie, 'Expelled, No Intelligence allowed' about the debate between Darwinistic evolution and Intelligent Design proponents. Turns out, there isn't much of a debate. This is only because those who hold the power in academia don't want to talk about it. Sad, really, because at some point in our lives, we all want to talk about it.
