The Third Look
by Mike Freeman (Libertarian)

About The Author

I'm a Buddhist, and as a result also a pacifist. "Letting go" as a Buddhist means alot to me, this including letting go of pre-concieved thoughts and opinions when studying things, which is really handy, as one can cut through the bias and opinion with ease, taking the most important facts away to be contemplated.

I'm at university studying bioscience in Hertfordshire, and have a great deal of respect for the scientific community, however I do sometimes things are moving way to fast, particularly on issues such as genetic modification and manipulation. I like to keep a real keen eye on current issues and events, am into politics.

My hobbies include martial arts, reading, making music (electronically & DJing), playing chess, watching documentaries and playing about on the computer.

I with my lovely girfriend Rachel, we've been together for 3 years now, and have had a whole lot of experiences together, from climbing mountains to clubbing like lunatics.

About The Column

The first look is where you take things as you see them. The second is forming an opinion on it from what is deduced to be the most logical explaination. The third look is where the opinions have been balanced from a variety of viewpoints, allowing the truth to be identified and clarified, giving the sharpest of relevant facts. There is no time for spin, just the truth as has been best estabished.
