I'm from Albany, Georgia. I graduated right down the road from Valdosta State College, (now Univeristy), in 1978 with a BFA in Theatre Arts. I then spent the next thirty years working in television, marketing and promotions. I now operate my own marketing consultation business in Albany. I have been politically active since my college days, starting out as a Republican, but quickly evolving into a Libertarian. About The Column
"A Southern View" is my attempt to find clarity and purpose in the current cultural and political landsacpe of America, as seen from my vantagepoint in Southwest, Georgia, specifically my hometown of Albany, Georgia. Are We Due A Revolution?

THe current two party system has merged into one, offering no real choice to the American voter. Can this be changed short of an all out revolution?
