Voice of Women
by Gwen Caldwell (Libertarian)

About The Author

I am the Founder and Executive Director of Voice of Women, which is a coalition of Indian and non-Indian women exposing the violation of law in the removal of children from the homes of their parents in South Dakota. We provide support and educational services to families who have lost their child(ren) to the system. We are also actively engaged in solutions projects that will protect poor families from being targeted by the system. I am a family rights advocate and frequently speak and am published nationally on the subject.

In July of 2007 I was appointed to the National Board of Directors of the Civil Rights Councils of America.

I am a former elected city official and also ran on the Libertarian ticket for South Dakota State Senate. I am a political watch dog and an effective campaign coordinator. I have successfully participated in many high profile candidate's campaigns, including Senator John Thune's unseating of Senator Tom Daschel in South Dakota.

I am the mother of five and a grandmother. I take my role as a generation keeper very seriously.

I am a patriot and still stand firmly in the belief that our Constitution is the law of the land.
