Jake is living abroad and missing America more and more. Until there is a better name, I am a Ron Paul republican, but actually fiscally conservative and socially liberal is more apt. I hate war. I love life. And I have no fear. It is past time for America to wake up. I will always have the freedom to express or at least think my thoughts, and I want you to know you have a friend you've never met who will defend your freedom to do so as well. Both criticism and support of my writings is very, very welcome. If you don't agree with me, try to educate me instead. I am frequently asked why do I pay so much attention to the ideas of Dr. Paul? This is based solely on his ideas and official record of the past 30 years, which has been amazingly prescient. Here's a passage from just before the events of 9/11: "We are in great danger of becoming involved in a vicious war for oil, as well as being drawn into a religious war that will not end in our lifetime. The potential for war in this region is great, and the next one could make the Persian Gulf War look small. The motto for this column is "Veritas numquam perit. Veritas odit moras. Veritas vincit." Truth never perishes. Truth hates delay. Truth conquers. The column seeks truth in the ecopolitical arena, with the primary goals of helping to bring the "War on Terror" to an end and a new dawn of Honest Money. The Constitution is a recurrent theme as this is the current ratified contract between We the People and the United States Government. Easily read by laymen 200 years later, this document limits the powers of government and can be changed by We the People. If abided by, We the People would have Honest Money and the "War on Terror" would not exist. It is up to the Reader to decide whether to agree with my version of freedom.
