I'm a professional, widely published journalist and humorist based in Atlanta. Over 3,000 of my columns, feature stories and investigative articles have been published in publications as diverse as Psychology Today and Newsweek to Yoga Journal and Arthritis Today. I'm perhaps best known for my work for the late and lamented OMNI -- I wrote for that magazine for over 16 years. I am currently a contributing writer to Mamm magazine covering issues related to reproductive cancers in women. I also write a satiric gossip/entertainment column for www.eons.com ( Sher's Gossip Au Go Go) and I am the founder of a an off-center (not off-color) humor site, The Brazen Hussies, www.brazenhussies.com, launched into cyberspace over a dozen years ago. I am a true independent, a staunch Constitutionalist and a Jeffersonian democrat ( small "d") with primarily Libertarian beliefs. About The Column

My column covers politics and American life and issues related to the political climate. I am a true independent with Jeffersonian democrat ( small "d") leanings and a libertarian outlook.
