About The Author
Felix Raymond Montez (September 17, 1976) was born in Cloquet, Minnesota. The youngest of 3 sons he was raised in the rural Minnesota township of Holyoke. He is no stranger to poverty and hardship, growing up under crushing rural poverty. Felix founded Camden REI Inc. a property management agency serving North and Northeast Minneapolis in 1998. In 2008 he founded Eleventh Hour Inc. a non-profit agency that helps youth transition from prison life back into the general population. His long term career goal is to become a licensed psychologist specializing in chemical dependency and mental health counseling.
About The Column
It is time for a new course; a route that will grow the party, while maintaining the core Republican principles of our platform, and welcome new members and new debate into the caucus. Let us move to the future briskly, competently, and with our vision clear of distrust. Together we will be a more eclectic party, putting aside simple dichotomies, and working in unity to preserve the Republic.
The GREAT Minnesota Compromise

The word, “compromise”, has taken on sinister overtones in the modern political landscape. This negative connotation is the result of political ineptness and cowardice being passed off as compromise.
