It's All Related
by Jahfre Fire Eater (libertarian)
About The Author
I was born ignorant, yet eager to learn in 1960. Not much has changed. I tend to be far more interested in why people, including me, think as they do than in what their personal opinions are on any given topic. Of course, we must start with those opinions but my goal is to quickly get behind them to the reasoning and influences that led to them.
I view conclusions as cairns marking where thinking stopped and hope dimmed. Note: facts are NOT conclusions.
Fire Eater is a nickname given by my wife due to her impression that nothing bothers me. I'm sure this will NOT be evident in my writing. Generally speaking, Fire Eaters are people who can debate hot, controversial topics without making them personal. Most people have a very hard time separating judgments on their behavior from judgments on themselves.
You'll see.
About The Column
This column is primarily political in nature with a libertarian conservative perspective. My true calling is for bluntly overstating the obvious then making connections to things that may seem unrelated when taken in the normal, isolated context that our world has been partitioned into. This makes my perspective the antithesis of standard talk radio programming.
