Wake Up!
by Natalie Schultz (Libertarian)

About The Author

Interests: Economics, limited government, individual liberty, European history.

The chart says I'm a Libertarian, however this is because the 10 questions are too vague.  I am totally Libertarian on most points except:
Homosexual marriage - I chose no laws regarding homosexual "relationships."  I believe that the government should not acknowledge any marriages at all, since "marriage" throughout history has been a religious institution.  Personally, I am against gay marriage.  However, I believe that the rate of divorce is caused by government interference (marriage penalty etc).

Trade and Money - this must be broken into 3 categories - trade, monetary policy and borders/immigration.  The choices reflect all 3 issues.  I chose no regulation.  I am totally against any "trade deals" (WTO, NAFTA).  I am for individuals and businesses trading with whomever they want.  I want to abolish the FED and go back to the Gold Standard.  I believe in strong borders and limited immigration.  I want to build a 16 foot wall along the southern border.
Why? Because, as I once argued with a liberal Anarchist (I consider myself a conservative Anarchist) who also believes in the absolute right to bare arms, on the issue of private property (she believes that private property leads to war) imagine this:  If there was no private property and everyone had a gun to defend themselves, and you are all happy in your nice little house in the wilderness and then all of a sudden another Anarchist comes along and decides to cut down your forest and knock down your house and build his own, what would you do?  "Shoot him."  She said.  Of course, I said.  But, in a conservative Anarchy with private property rights, you would post a No Trespassing sign, and then the other Anarchist would offer to buy your land and you could accept or refuse.  However, without private property he could just cut down your forest and then you would kill him.  Then his friends would come to kill you, and then I would have to kill them, and then we would end up in all-out warfare.  Private property = less war.
The same holds true for national borders.  Without borders the private property rights of the citizens cannot be upheld.  People keep coming here and invading the peace.  Nevermind that our Welfare State steals our money and then pays for these illegals to invade our communities.  It is welfare that attracts them and American employers who do not abide by the true free market and receive tax incentives to displace American workers.  YES, it is the welfare system, because if the illegals truly are paid almost nothing, then the only way they could survive here is on welfare and with tax-payer funded healthcare.
Pretty soon we will end up in an all-out civil war (not like the unconstitutional invasion of the North into the South when they legally decided to secede in the Southern War for Independence).
Let me tell you, there is no way that I am going down without a fight!  I will never speak a word of Spanish (I have not a Spanish bone in my body), nor use any Amero currency.  I want my nice paradise in the wilderness, but the more over-populated we become the more wilderness is lost.  The American birth-rate is falling, yet the actual population is increasing.  Our natural resources cannot handle this burden.  Keep out!  Immigration into our wasteful, gas-guzzling society is the worst thing in the world for the planet earth.

I, as an American do have unalienable Rights to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.  My grandparents waited years to legally immigrate here; they followed the law.  Natural wilderness and rural farmland is what makes me happy.  Unlimited immigration is a violation of my rights because when our country becomes over-saturated with people the government will take my land via eminent domain.  That leads to war!

I am not racist in this account.  I believe that the Mexicans have every right to make their own country better.  I am fully aware that NAFTA has destroyed the Mexican corn farmers because subsidized American corn is so much cheaper.  However, that is not MY fault, it is our evil government's fault.  And our government wants an American Union, so that is why they have destroyed Mexico's economy and devalued the American dollar: all in an attempt to force us to form a Union.  I stand with the Canadians on this issue:  Hell NO!

It is liberal, "politically correct" government policy that causes racism.  Libertarian, non-interventionist "Live and let live" policy is the only form of governance that does not lead to racism.  When you force any people to do something or prevent any people from doing something, then that immediately causes tensions.

Edwards is Out: What are all the Out of Favor "White Guys" to Do?
Published: January 30, 2008
Edwards represented a class of people that used to make up a large voting block of both Parties, but today is widely ignored: The working class. Sadly, none of the front-runners, on either side, are representing the interests of the people who built this country and created that great “Shining city upon a hill.”

Rudy's concession speech declared "Ron Paul Won!" I agree! This is how Ron Paul WILL Win!

GOP is Nailing its Own Coffin
Published: January 29, 2008
This is a revised version of my letter to my Ron Paul precinct. It is more Republican in focus, and points out why McCain will kill the Party. Only Ron Paul can save the GOP.

Reason To Be Optimistic
Published: January 25, 2008
I wrote this after the New Hampshire primary, but I think it is still relevant. Ron Paul's message is what is important.

This is my letter to Republicans in my NY precinct to get them to vote Ron Paul in the primary. If you are a precinct leader you may copy this letter and use it as well.

How the GOP is Controlling the 2008 Election
Published: January 21, 2008
Determined to see Hillary go head to head against a GOP heavyweight in November, the GOP is engaging in vote fraud on both sides to control the nominee selection process.
