The view from NITHIA...
by Michael (Libertarian)
About The Author
At 50 years + of age and with a coincidentally unique life's experience behind me that has been more syncopated than it has been in step with the beat of mainstream society I think you might find mine a totally unique perspective... Personality wise, I have been profiled as an "objective thinker"--wow, the world could use some objectivity about now... Married for 31 + years (to the same endearing woman!); father of three; grandfather of four (raising and homeschooling two of these in my own household currently); Christian in a Biblical way rather than a denominational way; occasional self-sufficient farmer (two five year stints + of milking a cow or goats by hand and raising all of our own vegetables and grains in the garden (organically); currently back in the system working and hoping that it all holds together long enough to finish paying for the farm this year... Oh, by the way, NITHIA=Nestled In The Hills In Arkansas... In His Love, Michael
About The Column
Since I am adamantly anti-globalist, my immediate contributions will be intended to garner support for Ron Paul--it is easy to understand that my current endeavor of priority is to promote Dr. Ron Paul, Republican candidate for President in 2008. I find that I also stand in agreement with what he has said, written and promulgated to date about all other issues. Since I am also adamantly Christian, my contributions will sometimes contain a Biblical perspective to personal, national and world issues as merited. Since I am also adamantly opposed to genetic engineering, cloning and the new field of bio-technology's current trespass into realms where man ought not to trespass, I will on occasion express my views on these matters. Basic and principle matters of economics and how they can deliver prosperity or poverty, depending on who controls them and how they exercise this control, has been an ongoing concern and interest of mine for over three decades now...

If we who support Ron Paul and what he stands for as a Republican candidate for the 2008 Presidential election are smart we will also at this time be looking outside the box of the 2008 Presidential election and begin now to look strategically as to what is needed in order for this Revolution to survive beyond the 2008 election.
