Elusive Reality
by Michael Maier (libertarian)
About The Author
I am labeled as a libertarian, what I am is an American. I work a full time job where I drive for most of the day. I am a paratransit driver and I do non-emergency transports. Given the time I spend on the road, I see many things and I hear many other things. Through this, I\\\'ve gained an interesting perspective on many of the things that affect people. Some of it I love and some of it I detest. I believe the \\\"keep it simple stupid\\\" principle should be considered at all times. I\\\'ll listen to the news and read news articles that catch my eye, but I won\\\'t read other columnists because I don\\\'t want to be influenced by their thoughts when I do my writting. Trust, but verify is a concept that I firmly believe in. Just because I see it on the news or read about it in the doesn\\\'t mean that it is absolutely correct. Taking the extra time for extra research may be the difference between looking intelligent and looking like a fool.
Telling the truth should be of great importance to people. Plain truth is something that the United States needs to get back to.
About The Column
Elusive Reality is about knowing when to stop and think about things from another perspective. If you act without thinking, you\\\'ll never get what you want from life. It will elude you every time. Also consider that you life is very different from anothers life, that is simple reality. What works for your life may not work for someone else and at the same time what may work for another may not work for you. The key to making it work may very well simply slip through your fingers every time you try to grab it. When you read what is written, consider it from different angles. You may find the right answer that works for you.
