About The Author

 I grew up in public housing .  My mother was divorced and sewed blue jeans in a sweat shop in  North Carolina to provide support for my sister and two brothers.  As a young person I can remember standing in line waiting for our government cheese and peanut butter.  Never knew what poor was till high school.

Over the years I parlayed my educational opportunities and a nine year stint in the Marines into a very successful wealth management firm. 

I have seven children, nine grandchildren and a wonderful and devoted wife.  Aside from my family and client commitments, golf and riding motorcycles compete for my time. 

I am a \"right leaning\" libertarian who believes in strong traditional values.  My fundamental consitutional leanings are for a smaller and a less intrusive government. 

My faith in Christ, is the foundation for my wisdom and is the basis of my decision processes.
