About The Author
I'm a graduate student who is returning to the university after years away. I have a degree in (and passion for) history, love traveling (especially around Spain, Portugal and Dixie), am an activist for liberty and Southern culture, and hope y'all enjoy the column!
About The Column
This column will seek to defend personal liberty and property against government intrusion, regulation and taxation. It comes from something like a Classical Liberal or traditionalist-libertarian point of view and will be friendly towards those of the Jeffersonian tradition in American history who opposed constant government intervention in their lives and those of others. There will also be more than a hint of agrarianism throw into the recipe to cook up what I hope will be a strong and tasty offense against statists.
