About The Author

I am 39 years old. Married to my beautiful wife, Jennifer. We have two beautiful daughters. I am currently employed at the Clarksville, Indiana branch of Indianapolis-based, Waddell Power, Inc. As a U S Navy veteran, I am set in that of the right and understanding of liberty, being the basis for our living in society, today.

About The Column

The foundation of allowing for the return to our constitutional values. Those values, set forth by the 'Founders', in the U S Constitution. We, as a society, have strayed, due to our own negligence. With this negligence lies the bearer of truth, in justice itself. The "Truth For Liberty" will align the matters at hand, into an easy to understand lesson, of returning to the liberties, and rights, that have been taken, asunder. for, with reform, we may return to such standards of living. Living in a free society, where accountability and responsibility, are the inherent ethics and values of all who reside in such.  

The People and Their State

These policies, and the use of an ever-increasing “Big Government”, have allowed for the deprivation of constitutional guaranteed sovereignty for the several states. Seemingly, the Tenth Amendment is ignored and tread upon by such administrations.

The Saturday vote on the government-run healthcare bill, should be noted as a blatant disregard for the wants and needs of the citizen. That seems to be setting the stage for “taxation, without proper representation”.

Yes, the relinquishing of liberty to imbetter society as a whole. Sounds good, doesn't it? If you want government to make the decisions in every manner possible, then that is the plan for you. For me, no.

Essence of Freedom

The answer is quite simple. Though, not easily applied. It is a mere application of ballot access. In order to get this instated, the sitting duopoly has to legislate this allowance of access. They see this allowance as an end to their squandering of our rights and liberties.

The citizen's cause can be legitimized in the 1st Amendment. This amendment brought about the freedoms that we tend to take for granted.
