Shineshine State Ramblings
by Larry G. McMillan (centrist conservative libertarian)
About The Author
I am retired Navy, of 21 years, retired from being a computer nut, on social security and have a veterans disability. I have written the following books, Electronic Thief, My Ramblings: An Adventure in Poetry, The Scarlet Widow, My Ramblings: In Our Image, and few columns for a crazy site by the name of http://www.useless-knowledge.com/
I am 73 years old and have traveled a large portion of the world. What I know about the other countries I have visited, however, is now close to ancient history but will be happy to share what I have seen and done with others. I also flew as an air marshal for President Nixon while serving in the Navy.
About The Column
Write about the questions that I think need to be answered by the persons running our nation. The whys and what if’s of the decisions they make today and tomorrow. Why make laws about subjects that can never be activated or carried out because of lack of manpower and resources. Try to get the feel of the inner voice of the people who are being affected by the decisions that our law makers make. If I have questions about these things I am sure others do also but don’t have the means or voice to put them in words. Maybe by the grace of God, I can do a little something to help make them and myself heard.
