About The Author
I have a passion for writing and reading. I live in NYC where I have found the perfect climate to ponder, analyze, study, research and discuss issues that mean a lot to me. I feel very strongly about the hijacking of Islam by radicals, the passiveness exhibited by Muslims, and the issues that have resulted from the dangerous combination of the two. I'm of Indian origin, I have lived for several years in Saudi Arabia, and have been living in the US for the past 9 years. I'm fortunate to have a diverse background and exposure to different religions, cultures and thoughts. Through my writing, I hope to provoke thought in people, change stereotypes, and hopefully make the world a less divided place. About The Column
This column is about challenging radicals, promoting thought and unveiling the more unknown aspects of issues such as religion, the war on terror, the situation in South Asia and in Muslim countries. Issues that are playing a powerful role in the dynamics of the world deserve more detailed attention and thought.
