About The Author

I am almost 31 years of age.   A former Marine, though I got out a month prior to 9/11, I have been somewhat aware of "something or things not quite right."  I have always had questions pop into my mind but, pushed them aside for a variety of reasons.  But now I have been unable to do this anymore.

I have always liked writing, mostly stories and I read alot.  I currently am a Security Officer.  I carry a firearm and know how to use them as a weapon.  So, I do support "gun rights" and I shall write on that topic as well as other issues.  I think it is important to note that these weapons are "tools" and can be used improperly the same as any other tool out there.  If done properly, a person can be taught well on the safety and use of such a weapon; the same as any other.  But it is also important to be able to go without any weapon. 

Too much dependence on one thing can leave a person "out in the cold" so to speak and this can lead to that person's demise; it does not have to be that way if one is privy to changing their mindset from one of total dependence on material "things" to one of self-reliance and tuning into one's own resources.  I take the individual much more serious than the collective whole.  I am very much an individual.

About The Column

I will discuss the various issues and break down the layers.  I will have my own conclusions but, when needed I will list sources.  For example: If I give an editorial or opinion piece it may not have a source.  If it is a specific topic and I am speaking about what is being passed into law I will give a source.  Basically, I reserve to think for myself and give what I think the subject matter is truly about.
