About The Author

George Phillies, 61, is a research physicist who teaches physics and game design at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He is a long time Libertarian activist, including stints as Chair and Treasurer of the Libertarian political association in Massachusetts.  He also collects boardd strategy games and gardens.  In 2008 he was the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire's choice for President; his running mate was Chris Bennett of Illinois.
