Thomas Locke

Libertarians perspective
by Thomas Locke (libertarian)

About The Author

My views are characterized as libertarian. However, I think the term Libertarian-Conservative pinpoint it better. In either case, I'm an independent thinker. When I hear an issue, I think about it independent of what mainstream media wants me to believe, or what even anyone for that matter wants me to believe. To me, that is the epitome of being an American. Thinking for yourself and coming to your own conclusions. Something must be urgently wrong with the world if that needs to be explained...

About The Column

My column supplies my viewpoints. While Nolan chart will tell you I'm a hardcore libertarian, I have tinges of conservatism inside me as well. If you look at it hard enough, conservatism and libertarianism are almost the same thing. The only difference is the neo-conservatives who have seemingly infilitrated a system of political thought. Like I said, in either case I'm an independent thinker. Not in the same sense as Bill O'reilly, in the FACTUAL sense. I accept criticism and kudos (obviously), All I demand is a bit of respect when disagreeing. I know I can't realistically ask for that, but I might as well try.
