Why people should vote for Mitt Romney by Joe Wendt

In November we have a choice. We have a choice of continuing the same policies that have failed for the past four years, or a choice of someone who is not that much better but different. Are there other choices, yes. One could vote for Gary Johnson, Jill Stein, Virgil Goode, Rocky Anderson, Roseanne Barr, etc, but what are the consequences? What are the benefits? The answer, none. I'm going to be honest; if you vote for a third party candidate, you are a coward. You are refusing to take a side and you are refusing to take into consideration that a majority of the American public are going to vote for candidate A or candidate B. Not picking A or B is a cowardly move because you won't compromise and you're afraid that compromising your principles isn't worth making a valid choice. So, instead of being responsible and voting for a major candidate, you become a contrarian, vote for a third party, and act all smug about it. News flash, America is in deep poop. We have out of control spending. We increasing our national debt at an astronomincal pace. And to top it all off, our civil liberties are being eroded every single day. This is all because of people voting their conscience instead of being responsible. If Al Gore, John Kerry, or John McCain had been in elected in a previous election, we'd probably be better off. People need to wake up and pick either Obama or Romney.
That being said, I am voting for Romney and I urge people to vote for Romney. Do I like Mitt Romney... HELL NO!!! Romney is an elitist, born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and is seemingly under the impression that America is stuck in the 1950's. His platform helps multi-millionaires and big, soulless corporations, and panders to the uber-Christian theocrats who want to dictate social policy to every American. So, why am I voting for this dingleberry? To be honest, because I have lived in Obama's America. My health insurance premiums (which I pay out of pocket for) have risen dramatically since Obamacare was passed; to a point I have to have a $10000 deductible in order to afford it and hope I don't actually need to use it. I left the Navy in 2008, since then I haven't been able to find a full-time job, and I have to struggle to feed my wife and kid working for minimum wage at a part-time job. I have seen gas prices rise from $2.75 per gallon to almost $4.00 a gallon. When I go to the grocery store, it's becoming more and more difficult to afford the basics, and meat has become a luxury item. Obama has put Social Security at risk because he cut the payroll tax; the only tax that funds Social Security. Not to mention my GI Bill and VA benefits are at risk of being cut because of Obama's idiotic budget cuts.
Why am I voting for Romney? Because Obama has made America unaffordable for working people like me. Because Obama wants to enslave people with government welfare and make it impossible for average people to live without it. Mitt Romney maybe bad, but holy crap, Obama is pure evil. Vote for the lesser of two evils, Vote Mitt Romney.
