A Simple, Foolproof "Home Presidency Test"...

America is expecting... a brand new President! Let's be sure we're choosing the best one for our country!

Wouldn't it be nice to have a simple Home Presidency Test? You know, like one of those neat Home Pregnancy Tests you just pee on and  read the "Yes" or "No" line for an answer?

(Hey! I know what you're thinking! I meant peeing on the pregnancy test! )

OK, some of those tests are hard to read. Newer ones spell it out pretty clearly, "Pregnant" or "Not Pregnant." We sure could use a test like that to help us pick a President, don'cha think? I mean, there're so many candidates! We need a clear "Presidential" or "Not Presidential" answer, and with primaries around the corner, we need it now!

You see your "big names" hyped every day on TV talk shows - Hillary, Obama, McCain. You've got movie stars like Fred Thompson. There's even religious ones like Huckabee and Romney. And don't forget "9-11" Rudy Giuliani. (OK, maybe you should. Just kidding, he won't let you forget!)

Then you've got the lesser-known candidates like Senator John Edwards and Congressman Ron Paul. How in the world can anyone who "has a life" figure it all out and make the best choice for America?

Well, it turns out there is a really simple "good to go" Home Presidency Test! One that the Founding Fathers of our country (you know, Thom, BenGeorge "Cherry Tree" W., and that ol' brew master Sam Adams?) expected every flag-waving, motherhood and apple pie-loving Son and Daughter of America to naturally use? I'll let you in on their secret: it's the Constitution!

Yeah, that's the handbook they expected their kids to apply. How would I know that? Well, for starters, they wrote it, and guess what? It says right inside that the president has to swear by it!:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

"But," you say, "How do I know they mean it?" SIMPLE! Just look at what they say and what they've already done, and compare those to the Constitution. If what they say and do isn't in the Constitution, guess what? They're breaking the law! Now, is that the kind of President we want for our country? A confessed criminal? I don't think so!

"But," you say, "Isn't the Constitution complicated?" Nah! To make this really easy for you, here's a link to the Constitution (Article 1 Section 8 is a nice, short list of the only things government is allowed to do!) and links to each of the major candidates' platforms. (If yours isn't here, just Google 'em.)  Oh, and if you want to read more things the feds can't do, read The Bill Of Rights - you get extra points for everything you find there that they're already doing!

Constitution of the United States - The Bill Of Rights

Barack Obama - Fred Thompson - Hillary Clinton - John Edwards  -John McCain - Mike Huckabee - Mitt Romney - Ron Paul  - Rudolph Giuliani

If you find something on their list that's not in the Constitution, take 'em off of your list. But be careful! Some of these guys are sneaky, after all, they're politicians, right? Don't let 'em fool you into thinking something they want to spend your money on is Constitutional if it isn't!

Now hurry, there's a test coming! You've gotta be ready to vote on Primary Day in your state! I hope you'll vote for the candidate most likely to actually keep that oath of office!
