Ron Paul's Incredible Iowa Victory

I am more than pleased to present this article by Mike Benoit, organizer of the large and growing San Diego Ron Paul 2008 Meetup Group here in the Truth Realm today.

RON PAUL SCORES AN INCREDIBLE VICTORY IN IOWA

By Mike Benoit
January 4th 2008

Before I tell you why Dr. Paul did in fact score an incredible victory by receiving 10 percent of the Iowa Republican Caucus vote, please read this quote from Thomas Jefferson.

"I have sworn upon the altar of God, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man."

To appreciate Paul’s Iowa Victory we must understand what Jefferson meant by tyranny over the mind of man. If you understand how a tyranny over the mind is created and how propaganda works to tyrannies ends then you begin to understand the magnitude of the Ron Paul Victory in the first in the Nation’s Caucuses.

Where are; Joseph Biden, Duncan Hunter, Sam Brownback, Dennis Kucinich, Chris Dodd, Mike Gravel, Bill Richardson, and Tom Tancredo? Answer. They don’t show up on the radar or they are out of the race. Why? The media has virtually ignored all of them. Oh sure they got a token here and there but the thousands of hits that each city receives each day referring to Election 2008 on the news casts reference Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Edwards, Mike Huckabee, Rudy Giuliani, Fred Thompson, Mitt Romney and John McCain. That’s it.

This is a programming upon our minds. This type of "news" reporting communicates "Here are the candidates that can win" and it works 99 percent of the time. This time the programming has a crack in its armor and that crack is the Ron Paul Revolution. In spite of receiving the very same treatment as the aforementioned candidates by the media, Ron Paul’s star shines bright. Why is that? Why was the Ron Paul Revolution able to break the tyranny upon the minds of so many? I suggest to you it might be there are thousands upon thousands of us who "swear an eternal hostility against tyranny upon the mind of man" as did Jefferson.

Ron Paul got an incredible 10 percent of the Iowa Republican Caucus vote in spite of this media/political party bosses’ tyranny. Just 1 percent vote total removed from both McCain and Thompson and put in Paul’s total would have created a virtual three-way tie for third place. I am convinced if Paul had not been deleted from the daily newscast he would have finished in a solid third place.

Ron Paul has shattered the matrix of the tyranny of the mainstream media. Now Fox News has excluded Ron Paul from an upcoming debate. Will you take this tyranny lying down America?

Thanks for the Victory Ron Paul.

That's not the half of it. Ron Paul actually won one county, and came in second in some others. No other candidate besides Huckabee and Romeny won individual counties. Here's the county by county tally: http://politics.nytimes.com/election-guide/2008/results/states/IA.html Hover over the counties on the maps for a list of the top 3 votegetters in that county.

Ron Paul will win. Fox News sucks because they won't even show Ron Paul. There are to many ignorant people in this world, I think more people need to know about Ron Paul. If the media showed more Ron Paul then he would of easily gotten in third place.

The censorship of Dr. Paul was obvious on CNN's coverage of the caucus last night.  They refused to put Ron Paul's 10% up on their pie chart, instead leaving a large chunk of it blank, while they put Richardson up on the Democrat chart with only 2%.  What was that all about?  Shame on them!  Boycott the MSM until they stop censoring our candidate!

Go Ron Paul!!!

I would like to see people resist FOX news reporters from covering incidents.  Their reporters should be asked to leave the scene.  The 1st Amendment works both ways.  If a news organization does not support the public good, and in fact censors the people's voice in public events, then its license to cover events must fall into question.   If there were only a way to lobby to have their "press pass" revoked.

Creator, thanks for bringing this to the Truth Realm!  I've been busy today producing a video associated with the Long Haul Revolution and have just now been able to start digging through some of the articles and information here.  I have not read or heard a better explanation of victory and the author is right on the money.  I'm glad you shared this or I would have missed it!

There is a crack in the media dam, may the flood soon follow!

Ron Paul is going to be there with his message of truth as the other candidates start falling off.  There is a massive base of Paul supporters waiting to cast their votes in 49 states, and they are die hard.

Even in Iowa, which is a miniscule segment of the pie, one undecided voter said: "wow, if I had known this many Ron Paul supporters were going to show up I would not have voted for huckabee."   Don't be that person!  We are out there in great numbers, with truth on our side!

Getting 10% in a highly polarized state with media blackout is  awesome and shows that more is coming.  The other states are not so nieve.

Also, obama won that state as a democrat even though there were only 940 votes for him.  Ron Paul had over 11,500 people that voted for him.  It would be stupid to get discouraged knowing that this is a TINY slice of the overall pie.
