New Hampshire slipping away from Romney

Newest polls show Romney in decline, dropping to mid 30's!

Latest polls this weekend show Romney bleeding, down to 35% in a state that neighbors Massachusetts.

Ron Paul's libertarians seem to be coming out from their hermitages in the woods, and former Governor Huntsman of Utah, another RINO is sapping strength from Romney.  Rick Perry who has declared he would re-engage US military forces in Iraq sure knows how to appeal voters who are as tired of the wars in the Middle East as they are of high unemployment and the massive US debt.  Way to go Rick!  You are gonna get alot of votes with your political savvy!

New Hampshire is becoming a battle ground state with thirty six hours or so left to go.  Romney is known in New England, and one would think if he is as good as the liberal media says he is he would be the favorite son of the area and drawing atleast sixty percent of the GOP primary voters...but that ain't what's happening.

Romney has the money, and the political experience to hang a long time after a mild disaster in New Hampshire.  And there are still too many conservative flavors in the mix to allow for consolidation.  But we can start to look for a conservative model that would or could be what would bring everyone on the right together.

First, there is a need to be a Christian.  President Obama's denial of American Christianity is important.  On the sidelines, look who has started to advertise on television.  This new major advertiser is not endorsing any candidate, they are advertising for themselves; the Catholic Church!  And while Catholics are known to be liberal voters, behind all of that is Christianity.  Old Catholics will vote liberal cause they always do.  But new Catholics, well, that could be a different story.  Polls have steadily been indicating that support for abortion is in a nose dive!  This is a litmus test issue for people who vote on social issues from the conservative side.

Second, there needs to be a rational strategy to support Israel, but it can’t be based on extended US involvement in the Middle East.  Gingrich has often talked about development of US energy reserves.  This has two benefits; one it frees us from dependence on Middle East oil, and second the 500 billion US dollars that go out of America for oil, could go into American job and investor pockets if US policy encouraged US exploration and development of energy reserves!

A side issue to this is Obama's planned military cuts, and the real reductions in U.S. capabilities.  Liberal socialism is sapping shrinking US financial strength at the same time the U.S. maintains expensive Defense commitments overseas.  And our border still is not sealed!  A 17 trillion dollar deficit, and a retrenched American public that realizes working more only benefits the government, is putting a real question mark on Israel's security just Iran reaches for the magic bottle with the genie of horror in it, nuclear weapons!  I mean Cecil B. De Mills could not have written a better script!  Anybody seen Charlton Heston?

Third, Obama Care has to go, and something has to be done to create a stable US business environment that would encourage investment!  Made in America needs to be an election slogan and more than that, a US cornerstone of economic policy.

Fourth, the Tea Party has to be energized and brought back into the action.  Palin could help do that.  Romney would never be able to do anything but keep Tea Partiers home on election day. The argument of the “lesser of two evils” so often used in the past, and a top forty hit on Hannity, is not gonna get it this time.  No conservative, no right wing vote.  Take it or leave it.

All of this is surfacing as we look to a longer primary season.  And, a longer primary battle is also good for another reason.  We will see more of the potential President.  Obama was elected with the lights out!  No one knew him.  Right now the Court is deciding whether he is even qualified to be President!  The media is at fault for Obama.  They never asked him one hard question. They never put him through the ringer they would to a GOP candidate.  The American media, owned by foreigners, is not doing America's business.

Ron Paul says alot of good things, but he answers yes to none of the above. Well, except for a US economy.  There he is on solid ground.  But legalizing drugs, legalizing aliens, reaching out to anything goes marriages will tell conservatives like me...stay home.

Now, we are looking for a conservative candidate and that really narrows it down to Gingrich and Rick Santorum.  That is ofcourse, unless Sarah decides to ride in on a white snow mobile!  We missed Elizabeth Dole, could we not miss giving Sarah the nomination?  I am a red neck, male chauvinsit, but I know a great leader when I see one. Sarah is one.
