Another Hysterical Heckler of Ron Paul Getting Shriller

The hysteria of the pro-big government members of the blogging media against Ron Paul is starting to reach new highs. One of the most hysterical voices belongs to Brent Budowsky

Brent Budowsky of thehill.com is one of many blogging hit men who are so desperate to continue their imperialistic, pro-big government game that they will lie, cheat, and deceive in order to publicly destroy the anti-Fed Congressman from Texas, Ron Paul. His latest article entitled, "The bailed out-bankers’ boys: Ron Paul, Rick Perry, Chris Christie and friends" takes this growing trend to a new level of hysteria. In it, he accuses Ron Paul of taking money from big bankers, but he does so without presenting a shred of evidence to support his claims. He also deliberately overlooks the fact that it has been Ron Paul, and only Ron Paul, among all politicians who all along has been decrying the banks and the Federal Reserve for over 30 years.

Particularly pathetic is that he considers bank fee increases to be the core of the banks' attacks on the American people. Apparently, taking hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars to bail out the banks doesn't hold a candle to charging more for debit card transactions. Never mind that Paul doesn't support either of those things. Budowsky doesn't care about the truth. He only cares about character assassination.

He also falsely accuses Ron Paul of wanting sick mothers to die. He writes, "Ron Paul, who cannot give a straight answer about whether our mothers should die if they can't get health insurance, believes in a weird version of 'responsibility' in which those with money and power prosper while everyone else suffers." Mr. Budowsky, apparently didn't listen to what Paul said. He simply accepted Wolf Blitzer's interpretation of the fact that a member of the audience reacted poorly before Paul had a chance to answer. Listen to what Paul actually said, and you'll find that he was decrying the high cost of medical care, something Budowsky doesn't seem to give a damn about.

I can't help but notice that Budowsky never actually complains about the high cost of health care. He only want to make sure that everyone has "insurance" (I use the term in the same, loose sense that he normally uses it) to help cover part of those gargantuan, astronomic prices. Ron Paul actually thinks that it's more important that health care costs have been driven through the roof by federal spending and regulation and that those same prices need to come down...way down! That's what Budowsky consider heartless, the fact that he wants affordable health care without ever-expanding health insurance premiums, and Budowsky doesn't.

I don't doubt that this is merely the latest in a long planned series of attacks we will see on Ron Paul. I wonder when the next wild attack will come? Probably very soon.
