Obama made us socialist, Republicans content with that!
I guess I am tone deaf, but I don't hear Limbaugh, Hannity, or any of the conservative talk show hosts talking about the repeal of Obama Care. by Mark Vogl

Headed towards 17 trillion dollars in debt, our trade deficit continues its decades long stretch, 9% unemployment, a stagnant economy, and not one Republican that is on the radar screen is talking about repeal of Obama Care.
Did you ever walk in your house and smell a strange odor? The odor was everywhere and you knew something was wrong. Maybe it took some time, but you finally found a gift left by a pet, or a small child. Or maybe it was a dead mouse, or some other unpleasant thing. But your first awareness of it was from your nose, and it took some time to find it.
Remember the debate over the debt ceiling? We are talking about adding 2.5 trillion in debt. Debt we will have to pay. Credit cards don't work for ever. Now during that debate did you hear Limbaugh or Hannity or Beck talk about repealing Obama Care? I mean the pound us about Israel every day! I mean the way they are critical of Obama every day? You know..it's like the theme song from Andy of Mayberry, played over and over again, so that you can still hum it today, twenty years after the show went off re runs. No you did not, and no you do not. The Republicans are not talking about repealing Obama Care. Why?
Obama care will be the largest, most expensive program ever devised by the federal government. Yes, more expensive than the Defense budget. Yes, more expensive than social security. You see Obama Care is going to pay for the health care of all Americans, plus the 20 million illegals here now, plus the tens of millions of more illegals who come when they find out from their illegal immigrant family members that they can get free health care. This program will sink America. Sure as we are sitting here. So why doesn't Limbaugh, Hannity, Perry and the rest talk every day about the complete repeal of Obama Care. Oh yea, Perry said he would sign an Executive Order cancelling as much of Obama Care as he could...the result minimal to none. Obama Care is a law, Perry or whoever is President can't undo Obama Care with an Executive Order. Although, given Obama's record, you never know.
No, the Republicans aren't talking about repealing Obama Care because American big business wanted it, they wanted to shed that costly benefit package they now pay for their employees.
Repealing Obama Care, I mean all of it would require massive Republican wins in the Senate. Not only would you need sixty Senate votes, but you would need more because of men like McCain and Graham who would most likely stand with the Democrats. But you would think that would drive the Republican political machine to have Repeal of Obama Care as their front line message. It would tell Americans we need a super majority in the Senate to repeal national health care and avoid huge tax increases. But again, silence.
The Republican Party, at least it's Eastern core, is as bad as the Democrats. In some ways worse. Perry calls for a Day of Prayer in Texas, making conservative Christians think he is socially conservative. Did he call for a Traditional marriage Amendment to the Constitution? Did he call for a complete reform of the Federal Communications Commission to take the filth off television and radio? Including the foul language off Hannity and Limbaugh?
There is only one hope, and like a woman teasing a man, Sarah is flirting but not committing. Now she's a wily thing and there's probably strategy behind them moves she makes. The movie "The Undefeated" tells the story of Sarah in Alaska. It reports what she did, and when you watch it you can understand why both parties would be fearful of a Sarah in the White House. She doesn't wear either brand, she is more a common sense American than anything else. But, Sarah time is running.
The Tea Party and Sarah may be our only hope.

The headline of this article is quite misleading. The notion that the Democrats, all by themselves, with no Republican support or assistance, made this country socialist is just plain absurd. I don't dispute the socialist nature of the current Democratic Party, but trying to pretend that the Republicans are not similarly socialist by disclaiming that they are "content with that" is just ridiculous. Republicans have for years supported all manner of socialism, from Social Security and Medicare to subsidies for farmers and corporate welfare. Some Republicans talk like they're anti-socialist in regard to these issues, but the proof is in the pudding. Once they get into office, they vote differently from the way they talk.
The bottom line is that Republicans are just as responsible as Democrats for America's socialism, and this pattern goes back a long, long way.

Walt,
Too my way of thinking the complicent republicans are worse. Of course I am attributing most the democrat inspired socialism to ideology, which may or not be true, while the republicans they are beneath contempt opportunistic liars and sell outs.
