Ten things President Obama could endorse to improve the economy!

Liberal policies must be reversed if the American economy is to change direction, and not all those policies are Democratic

America is suffering economic distress because of the policies of both the Republicans, and the Democrats.  So if Obama was really an American, he would introduce a series of initiatives that reversed the harmful policies of both parties.  Here's ten steps he could take right now that could help privatize our economy, reduce the national debt, and encourage investment and job creation in Amerca;

1. Repeal Obama - Care, national health insurance.  This Obama initiative is probably one of the top three blocks to economic recovery!  Why?  For one it is the largest federal program ever adopted in terms of taxation and spending.  One sixth of the entire economy would be under federal control by just this program.  That is socialism no matter how you look at it.  And because it would require the government to pay for all, legal and illegal, and because both parties refuse to close the borders, the expense of the program is both uncontrollable, and impossible to estimate.  If 20 million illegals entered the US before they got health care, how many more tens of millions will enter after?  And these folks don't enter as the highest paying tax payers...but the lowest.  Obama Care and the taxes connected is driving investment dollars out of America and to third world nations who don't have regulations, manditory health care costs, and pay much lower wages.

2. Drill here and drill now!  The fossil fuel energy resources of America are literally the largest in the world.  Today, when you pay 3.50 to 4.00 dollars per gallon sixty percent of that money leaves the United  States to go to the rest of the world.  If we developed and refined our own fuels all that money could stay here in America, going to Americans.  If we have to pay ridiculous prices for gasoline lets at least make Americans rich from it, not  Venezuelans, and Arabs, and everyone else but us. Also require US energy profits be invested or spend in the US.

3. Eliminate baseline government budgeting.  Right now next year's federal budget is assumed to be 7% higher than this year's...before they even start.  When they talk about cuts, they are talking about cut to raises, not actual reductions in spending.  Baseline budgeting is inflationary and encourages continued growth, meaning continued growing spending.  That’s one of the keys to a 17 trillion in debt.  The approach to the federal budget deficits cannot be based on increasing revenues (ie. taxes) but in reducing spending.  Today, 50% of all Americans don't even pay income taxes. Half the nation!  That's wrong, ..so if there is going to be any increase in revenue it should come from the bottom 50%!

4. Retake the American market place.  Establish tariffs in specified American industries.  For years we have been suffering a trade imbalance, set a goal of becoming a trade positive nation, more goods leaving than coming in. The US industrial base is collapsing because the technologies developed here in America have been moved overseas to employ child labor and other less expensive labor that costs pennies on the dollar to US labor.  Some of the exorbitant US labor costs come from unions, some come from the inflation which has not been reported, but is devaluing our dollars.  Tariffs are what the Yankee north used to incubate the beginnings of their industries back around the Civil War times.  It's time to use a tried and true method.

5. Close the border.  No one other aspect has been as expensive to federal taxpayers, or as effective in keeping manual labor under paid as open borders.  20 million unskilled workers, bringing their children (to educate and provide health care for), depressing manual labor wages, creating huge crime, Court, and incarceration costs.  Securing the border is a Constitutionally mandated federal responsibility.  If they can't do that, why do you think they can provide health care (talk to Veterans about government provided health care), or any other service.  Isn't the Post Office claiming it  may go into default, despite collecting 44 cents for every envelop you mail!  Wake up Americans...

6. Privatize Social Security. The benefits from this one step would be enormous.  First it would remove trillions of dollars from the federal government.  Second if monies invested by Americans had to be in American industries it would provide those same trillions to hire people!  This is so simple even the stupied could understand it.  Allow people who are 55 to opt of Social Security and surrender every penny they contributed with a proviso that they pay no more social security as long as they live, and none of their federal taxes can be raised.  This could reduce US liabilities by billions, maybe more, depending on how much of America's rising generations took advantage of leaving the system.

7. Reject globalism and global warming as foundations for US policy.  Neither have been proven to be good for America, both have result in US job loss, and economic tragedy here in the U. S..

8. Significantly reduce the number of kids who enter college, significant being 1/3 or more.  What are the statistics which support the massive higher education infrastructure in this nation?  How many kids who enter college graduate in 4 years, ok five years?  Real numbers.  Kids who walk in the door, vis a vis kids who walk out the door with a degree?  If those numbers were good, don't you think we would heart about it?  How many younger people do you know who wasted money and time in college?

Than the next important question, how many graduates actually secure jobs in the fields they have a degree in?  What is the average salary of a professor? How many hours do they spend in a classroom?  Where is all the money going ?  If we closed 1/3 of the colleges would there be a lot of excess labor? You bet.  Excess labor means it’s available at a reasonable price for employment.

If we have so many more colleges, so many more college graduates, why is the US in decline, and why did it rise to greatness with so few colleges or college graduates? Answer; hard work…two bad four letter words that explains it all.

What college has done is devalue manual labor, blue collar work, self-education, promotion based on performance and experience.  College is NOT the end all answer to America’s woes.  Education may be, but not the education of the classroom, but the education of life.

9. Dramatically reduce Food Stamps, welfare payments and other social programs whose title indicate one thing, but is actually used for things unimagined,

10. Eliminate earmarks, eliminate Congressional retirement and benefit packages.  Make Congress and their staffers who work in Congress, live like regular Americans.  Re-orient them to real life.  Require honorable military service to even hold a job with Congress, clear out the Congressional staff lifers.  Much more Congressional business could be done without your Congressman, or Senator ever leaving your state.  Imagine a Congress where the Congressman went to work at his officer in the district every day.  For votes and other business they used a new technology, the internet.  If lobbyists wanted to see him, they would have to travel to see him/her.  Imagine one Congressional staff instead of two per Senator and Congressman.  And those staffers would be from where you live, not from who knows where and living in Washington.

Another way to use the internet and academia would be to require all graduate level students to research and write the new chapters for text books to graduate.  No pay for the new re-writee, produce it on the internet at no cost.  Let the school districts select and print the books! Imagine the savings at the local level!  But this is too modern, too much common sense.

11. Cut the White House Budget in Half!!!  How many times has President Obama said we all must sacrifice?  Set the example Mr. President, cut your own budget in half, release 50% of your staff.  Fly commercial.  Stop telling us what we have to give up, and start giving up things yourself!  How ‘bout use the Executive Order to cut your retirement to 1/3 of what it will be.

I know this is 11, not ten.  But with me, you always get more than what I promise.
