Fox News - Why they Ignore Ron Paul The real reason that the major news networks ignore Ron Paul!by Stephen Wood

Like millions of couch potatoes all over the greater part of my neighborhood, (well I consider my neighborhood to include both coasts, I'm an inclusive kinda guy), so as me and my extended network watched television in these all so important days surrounding the primaries, I noticed one glaring fact. No news about Ron Paul.
Being a firm believer in the old addage: "No News is Good News" I jumped for joy! Well I didn't literally jump, as that might require a rearrangment of my 17 remote controls, but I did move my eyelids a bit at the realization that my favorite candidate is winning.
Those guys at the news stations are smart. They are able to look through all of the relevant facts that they created and determine what you and I are thinking. They pay people hundreds of Euros per hour, well they switched to Euros three days ago because the dollar isn't accepted at US Banks anymore. The Federal Reserve is printing new dollars that say "In God We Trust, All others Pay in Euros".
Anyway, those news pundits do so much thinking that they have to keep repeating their shows throughout the night so that we, the simple citizens of this great country can watch re-runs of the news every 30 minutes to find out what we are thinking.
We, the citizens of the United States of America need a slogan like Fox. Their slogan is "We Report, You Decide". Ours should be, "Who do you guys think you are Fooling?" Ok, I'm still working on a slogan for all of us, but I'll report and and you decide.
It is absolutely amazing to me that the major news outlets have completely ignored the grassroots campaign of Ron Paul. If they are truly reporting the news, then why does the one candidate from both political parties who has grown from obscurity to national prominence been blanked by the networks?
I can see, even with prescription lenses, that there is no mention of his name on these so-called Political Update shows. Fox invited all manner of "experts" on their show last night to talk about the campaigns of the Presidential candidates and not a word about the good doctor was breathed.
These same political experts had to wade through a sea of homemade signs on every stop sign and fence post from Des Moines to Mason City with one man's name on them, "Ron Paul". I guess they read the "Who is Ron Paul?" signs and said, "Hey, We're the Reporters here, we'll ask the questions!"
I believe what they are worried about is that We the People, have grown a brain. We have started putting 2 and 2 together and realized that it isn't 7.4 as they reported yesterday. They are worried that we will find out that their focus groups consist of people they went to dinner with last week.
The fact is that there are so many regular people out there supporting this quirky physician that it has created a new zipcode in every state of the Union. Ok, that might be wrong, I don't want anymore government involvement in this movement than necessary, but you catch my drift.
Anyone who has done any research has found that this man is the closest thing to Jimmy Stewart that we have running for office. If you don't believe me, go rent "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington". It will amaze you in it's similarity to the current story of Ron Paul.
Anyway, thanks to Fox, CBS, CNN, ABC, NBC and all the others for making it so clear who our winner is in Iowa. They unanimously agree that the one thing they don't need to mention is that Ron Paul is winning the hearts and minds of America's voters.

The nicest thing about the spontaneous support from young people who were supposed to have been successfully programmed by the neocons and assorted busybodies, is that whatever happens -- maybe a big surprise, maybe not -- the torch of liberty is passed to thousands and thousands among a fresh generation, who will reiterate it during the living memory of the next three generations to follow.
Oh, and Bill, what koolaid did you drink that makes you compare young people who are in many ways reminiscent of Sen. Eugene McCarthy's 1968 ('Clean Gene') supporters in New Hampshire, to followers of proto-neocon Sen. Joe McCarthy or those other crazies who you name?
