People that desire a global order treat anyone that disagrees with them as conspirators; they put out whatever they think the American people will buy, the new buzz word or the new phrase or the old line; we just want to save the earth, all in the guise its good for who?...not you! A global mentality that only benefits the very few elites of the world, you will be forced to live by international law, the socialized youth will fall inline or be reeducated sound familiar.

I believe all Americans care for our planet; and we would all like to see future generations take care of our planet, too. But not by fundamentally transforming Americans to live like a third world county; don't believe me then read their words, do the research and you too will say America has had enough.

President Obamas E.O. 13575 is designed to begin taking control over almost all aspects of the lives of 16% of the American people. Why didnt we notice it? Weinergate. In the middle of the Anthony Weiner scandal, as the press and most of the American people were distracted, President Obama created something called The White House Rural Council (WHRC).
Section One of 13575 states the following:

The more important point, though, is that these initiatives that have been enacted ostensibly to save the environment, invariably destroy economic vitality, erode property rights, undermine liberty and constitutional government, impose soviet-style rule through stakeholder councils, subvert local control and usually devastate the natural environment to boot.
But desperate measures are necessary to save Mother Earth, and only a comprehensive, global plan will do, argue the alarmists. The UNs Agenda 21 is definitely comprehensive and global breathtakingly so. Agenda 21 proposes a global regime that will monitor, oversee, and strictly regulate our planets oceans, lakes, streams, rivers, aquifers, sea beds, coastlands, wetlands, forests, jungles, grasslands, farmland, deserts, tundra, and mountains. Copies of the 1,100-page document were hard to come by for several years after its debut at Rio, but I was able to bring back a media copy of the five-pound treasure from the summit. The most accessible version of Agenda 21 to come out following the Rio summit was published under the title AGENDA 21: The Earth Summit Strategy to Save Our Planet (Earthpress, 1993). Edited by environmental-activist attorney Daniel Sitarz and enthusiastically endorsed by Earth Summit chief Maurice Strong and then-U.S. Sen. Paul Simon (D-Ill.), the book is instructive for demonstrating the completely alien mindset that holds sway in so many influential political, academic, and media circles. Sitarzs edition provides a powerful, albeit unintended, indictment of the UN agreement by offering this candid appraisal of the plans totalitarian ambition. Incredibly, Sitarz admits with apparent approval that:

Nevertheless, editor Sitarz continued his praise for the wondrous text, noting:
There are specific actions which are intended to be undertaken by multinational corporations and entrepreneurs, by financial institutions and individual investors, by high-tech companies and indigenous people, by workers and labor unions, by farmers and consumers, by students and schools, by governments and legislators, by scientists, by women, by children in short, by every person on Earth.
The tyrannical implications are so stunningly transparent that it seems impossible that any nation not overtly communist could endorse it. Yet it was unanimously endorsed by every nation at the summit, including the United States. Not even Stalin, Hitler, or Mao came close to proposing anything this all-intrusive and all-encompassing.
But the hubris goes much further still. One of the most sacred totems in the UNs green theology is sustainable development. The Local Agenda 21 Planning Guide, published in 1996 by ICLEI, the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), has been an important manual for teaching ICLEIs local acolytes and accomplices the sustainability game. It boasts a foreword from former Earth Summit chief Maurice Strong, who currently is president of the council of the UNs University for Peace. The Guide asks the rhetorical question: What is Sustainable Development? It then provides this revealing answer:
The realities of life on our planet dictate that continued economic development as we know it cannot be sustained.... Sustainable development, therefore, is a program of action for local and global economic reform a program that has yet to be fully defined.
Yes, that is correct; the program that is absolutely essential to our very existence has yet to be fully defined. It goes on:
No one fully understands how, or even if, sustainable development can be achieved; however, there is a growing consensus that it must be accomplished at the local level if it is ever to be achieved on a global basis.
There you have it; even though we dont know what it is, there is a growing consensus that it must be accomplished."
Its time to look in your neighborhoods your town, your city and your community and see where Agenda 21 or ICLEI is located and get them out your freedoms America depend on action!

According to its authors, the objective of sustainable development is to integrate economic, social and environmental policies in order to achieve reduced consumption, social equity, and the preservation and restoration of biodiversity. Sustainablists insist that every societal decision be based on environmental impact, focusing on three components; global land use, global education, and global population control and reduction.

And they have been implementing it with religious fervor along with bountiful assistance, of course, from the United Nations and a multitude of UN-affiliated institutions, U.S. government agencies, NGOs, and tax-exempt foundations. ICLEI, which has helped initiate UN programs in hundreds of U.S. communities, works closely with UN agencies such as UNESCO, UNEP, WHO, UNFCCC, IPCC, IMF, and the World Bank, as well as the U.S. State Department, Department of Energy, EPA, U.S. Agency for International Development, the Sierra Club, Environmental Defense Fund, World Wildlife Fund, World Economic Forum, Club of Rome, Rockefeller Foundation, the European Union, and other similar entities. It also receives millions of dollars of funding from many of these same entities, thus enabling it to organize formidable local coalitions that often can overwhelm genuine local grass-roots opposition to UN-spawned programs.
However, the correlation of forces in this ongoing struggle may be turning in favor of freedom though not a moment too soon. When this reporter returned from the Rio Earth Summit in 1992 and began a national tour with my book Global Tyranny, Step by Step The United Nations and the Emerging New World Order, far too few people were ready for the message. Patriots in communities all across the country are getting wise to the UN programs and are fighting back. Many of the Tea Party activists have awakened to these issues. All your "don't step on my Freedoms", "Here come the Socialists", "I'm tired of being polite" and "Hell no" talk is only convincing me that you've bought into the lies that the corporate elite use to protect their own property rights at the expense of yours.
Have you actually read Agenda 21?
You would have been much better served if instead of screaming at your audience about Communists and protecting Freedom, do a point by point rebuttal of Agenda 21.

Pay no attention to snot nosed, green behind the ears educator types that have not the sense to understand that you have done a service. Catherine, you have provided a look at a real problem, a real time, as in happening as we speak threat to our liberty. We ignore, a word derived from ignorance, these issues at our peril. I wonder how effective Paul Revere would have been if he had left sticky notes after knocking quietly. Many lives would have been saved if the British, as Sarah pointed out, had heeded his warning to walk away.
Catherine is not talking about a theoretical academic excercise where the perceived winner receives points, this is the real deal, these are real people, real lives, real property and real liberties being usurped. What we need are more Patriots and fewer theoretical academics.
My family came here on the Mayflower, signed the Mayflower Compact, are rumored to have been a participant in a Tea Party, see "Bent Family in America" and "Bent's Fort" by Lavender also see The Clintons, the Crenshaws, their home in Richmond became The Confederate White House. Trumble did a ceiling in Washington. C.M Russell liked to paint Indians and horses. The Bents were surveyors and the first white settlers in Colorado leaving behind a national historic site. The first territorial governor of New Mexico, died in Taos in an Indian uprising. Kit Carson and Jim Bridger worked for the Bents. Oh! did I mention a signer of the Declaration of Independence, Jeffersons 1st. VP., the construction of the Erie Canal and Oliver Hazard Perry. This is the short list. They all had one thing in common and I share this commonality, they hated tyranny in any guise, especially the tyranny of ignorance. They all had an advantage we don't, they could move on and remain here at the same time. We will either stand and fight for our Liberty or we won't. That is the point. EOR

Nobody's questioning anyone's patriotism here. I've read Agenda 21 and I didn't see anything in it about private property rights being taken away. What I did see was a general understanding that governments and the people of the world should do a better job at recognizing the "Tragedy of the Commons" and to take steps to protect the collective air we breathe and the water we drink. The document also recognizes that governments should stop running up huge deficits, which is something I thought the Tea Party would support.
Large-scale industrialists and the ultra-rich would have a problem with the goals of this document. They would prefer unfettered access to do whatever they want while poisoning our environment. Therefore, they have engaged in this "faux debate" where they conjure images of Mom & Apple Pie and dark-skinned Communists in order to frighten the masses into supporting their dangerous practices.
I agree we should not simply accept something anything the UN says at face value. Therefore, I would be happy to engage in a thoughtful debate regarding Agenda 21 and then we can figure out for ourselves whether we should start rounding up the wagons.
If you want to fight the "tyranny of ignorance", you have to first figure out who is being ignorant and who is trying to manipulate you with their lies and misinterpretations.

So just what are the implications of dealing with the theoretical eventual tragedy of the commons and at the same time sustaining the constitutional rights concerning private property? Is it a mistake to believe that Agenda 21 could very well be a grab and control of natural resources? Including surface rights? Farm land? Grazing rights, you did know that grass was the largest crop produced even though it requires cows, sheep, horses and goats to turn it into protein. Where does it stop this protection of the commons and the common good.
You imply that others are misinformed by others perpetuating disinformation. I believe in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. What do you believe? That Agenda 21 won't lead to those very same industialist gaining control of the common assets. That is your strawman. Do you believe that communists have the best interest of their fellow man at heart? Communists do exist, honest they real do. I would except nothing from the UN period. Agenda 21's value to the left is the intrinsic power in the concept of the commons. Words have meaning, the very first thing that must happen to proceed with the Agenda is to nullify the Bill of Rights whether it be in fact or in practice, this is already a reality for many. Do you believe that the only failure of socialism/marxism/communism is that the right people were not in charge?

Hello I hope this post finds you wonderfully well. I have never replied to a post before and probably will continue, not to reply to comments; not because I do not appreciate any voice of reason, I most certainly do, indeed. I appreciate anyone that takes the time out of their day to imbibe anyone’s words.
Although I am also certain I would not be able to persuade you even with a slice of cake, a cup of tea and good conversation to my way of thinking. For I believe you have made up your mind, and a fine mind it is. I thank you for your expression for we should all garner with a grain of salt and never be nascent about things we partake of for there should always be reason, without the sense to objurgate.
If I scream would you turn your head to find out where the scream was coming from…would you take notice? Well a little shouting now and then may just wake a few people up. When we write our thoughts we give voice to so many that are imperseverant: yet if it allows just one person to thread a voice about the concern, to talk about it just a little, well the more people converse about the subject the more will be revealed…
I tire of the politically correct, I am beyond the polite, although kindness and thoughtfulness never go out of style and I never tire of a person that speaks his or her mind; so I gift you my heartfelt thank you for being so nice as to make comment. I hope even in the smallest of measures, you too will dig a little deeper…

Dear Bentree,
I never liked the intrusion of the United Nations. For in the real world anything man gifts to man can be taken away. What God gives us is a gift that cannot be taken away; that being freedom and free will. I believe in live and let live, equal justice for all, personal responsibility; but power and greed are quite the aphrodisiac.
But then we are so politically correct today, pounced upon for our beliefs that we are becoming obsolete as people. It only stops when they achieve the goal of the earths dominion over all, by man, with no spiritual intrusions. God gave man dominion over the world. Only with this reversal will there be ultimate control, mans control.
Ambitious are they not? For they desire a world order that can be achieved through global governance. I believe there is nothing more prevalent for the progressives then to make the Bill of Rights, Our Declaration of Independence and Our Constitution irrelevant, for each and everyday Congress is being made more irrelevant.
To have your eyes open to a bigger picture, to think outside the box is good. For whether anyone admits it or not we are living in dangerous times. Today as with prior presidencies this is not a democrat or republican ideology it crosses all party lines.
This is a progressive view for with the expansion of executive powers, there is a tipping point to liberty and I feel we are today, at this cross road; if congress can be circumvented in every aspect, like the Times so boldly displayed on the front page of their magazine.
The Constitution does it really Matter?
If you ask me. YES it does and always will; for it is a charter of negative liberties to ensure our liberties are never trampled upon, we have been asleep for so very long; generations, even mine did not see the threat. Let us just hope it is not too late. I ramble so forgive my lengthy comment. This is why I do not reply to comments.

I for one appreciate the hard work that you put into your article. It seems today that many don't understand or acknowledge the erosion of our freedoms. I have told the story of a friend of my mothers, a very intelligent attorney, original suffragette she had been the first woman D.A. in Cleveland. I overheard her make the comment that individual rights are superceded by the rights of the majority. I was 15 and astounded, she was 80 and from the point of view of the Founders documents she was wrong as hell and I told her so. Which was a mistake because at her age she sure wasn't going to change. That was the day that I learned that Jessie was a card carring communist. Now you don't have to be a communist to believe in the collective, group salvation and social justice, but what the hell it may be time to consumate the deal for those of you already carring their water. Sorry about that Catherine.
