America's problems are American made! Thanks President Obama!
From outrageous gasoline prices, to inflation, stagnant employment and seemingly endless government costs...the problems we face are the result of wrong policies. by Mark Vogl

America is in decline and rarely has it been so obvious that our troubles are caused by our own government and its policies!
The root of all our problems is our national rejection of God. When the President of the United States openly denies America is a Christian nation and the American people do not rise to silence him and reject him, than we don't have to look too far to know why we are in decline. I submit that it is this complete misunderstanding of the history of this nation, a nation built by pilgrims seeking religious freedom, not freedom from religion, which exemplifies totally warped view of America and what makes it a great nation. A review of our problems and their associated government policies illustrate the connection between what's wrong, and how it's the American government's fault:
Abrotion, Gay marriage, CONTINUED EXPANSION OF CASINO'S and gambling: 50,000,000 murdered unborn infants, foul language on television and radio, a complete surrender of control over what is broadcast on our airwaves, combined with the philosphy of relativism have moved our nation far from our Christian foundation.
America's stagnant economy: Our problems here reside in deep incorrect policies which we have followed for decades, and are as much a result of two Bush Presidencies as they are of the Clinton - Obama years. We have surrendered the richest marketplace in the world, the American marketplace, to globalism. Seeing international trade as the base of our economy, instead of our domestic market, we have opened the borders, not only to illegal immigrants and illegal drugs, but to foreign goods. We have diminished the importance of manufacturing and blue collar jobs and built an economy on government provided services like education, the social safety net, and health care for the elderly. Instead of a free market driven by consumer spending, we have moved our economy to a socialist model where economic activity is largely paid for by the government through taxation and deficit spending!
American Presidents are no longer American. The long public doubt about President Obama's birthplace may not have proven to be justified, but the cosmopolitan, global view of our President's after President Reagan make all Americans wonder whether our Presidents are really our Presidents?. Just this week the news reported that large subsidies provided by our government to "American" business went to hire employees in China!
America used to be the manufacturer of the world. Not anymore.
Outrageous gasoline prices: a PERFECT EXAMPLE of America's failed economic policies. While a Congressional Research Service Report indicates that the United States has the largest energy resource reserves in the world we continue to block exploration and development of our own resources. Tens of thousands of good paying jobs left in the closet. We don't develop our oil reserves in Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico. We dont develop our coal and other reserves in the Great Plains. Instead we pay 100 dollars a barrel prices to the Middle East and other OPEC nations. The US economy is sacrificed to maintain the world economy! We subsidize socialism and other poor economic models by not developing our own natural resources. One in four working age men are unemployed...and these are "men jobs".
A large segment of the American economy was built on cheap fuel which allowed Americans to travel the nation. Tourism, domestic tourism funded the state coffers of Florida, California and others. But because gasoline is so high, there is alot less money for domestic tourism. And these expensive gasoline prices not only suck money out of the US, but prevent American families from spending on other items, or just as importantly, saviing!
Inflationand devaluing of the dollar.President Bush set the precedent with spending a trillion for bailouts and President Obamacontinued down the same road. Estbablishing new "rights" not in the Constitution, like a right to education, a right to health care, the Republicans and Democrats have created a businessenvironment where employers are afraid to hire, they simply don't know what the future holds. They don't what their costs will be. They don't know when the economy will turn around. They see no national leadership committed to ending this extended recession! With unemployment over nine percent they are told this is the new reality! We are told we should not expect to be better than Europe!
We continue to borrow and print money we don't have. We spend on a Cadillac government when all of us are in Volkswagen homes! The fixed incomes of retired people are diminished by unreported inflation which is most obvious at Walmart and other retail outlets. Food prices are soaring.
Exploding social safety net costs: Tens of millions of illegal immigrants entered American across the American - Mexican border. These entries into the nation were so poor they had to walk hundreds of miles across open deserts. They brought nothing with them but hope. Many millions needed to find work to send a large portion of the money they earned back to Mexico. The US government was complicit in this travesty. Something like 40% of all the prisoners in our jail are illegal immigrants! Who knows what percentage of illegal immigrant children fill our classrooms, take Food Stamps, or require medicaid and other subsidized health care.
A foriegn policy which bankrupts our nation: 50 terrorists on one day changed America forever! Who says violence doesn't pay? We are engaged in two legal wars, and one illegal one in Libya...with no end in sight. We have to strip and be body searched when we fly. We stand in long endless lines. The great "Moslem threat" is out there...if you listen to the mass media, Hannity and Beck, but they seem impotent. Doesn't matter though, we spend billions because of the threat. We pay subsidies to countries all over the world.
Global warming, the hoax that keeps on costing. The world has passed through several Ice Ages, several warming eras...long before we could do more than light a local camp fire. We can't even stop people from using marijuana, but we know how our activities are heating up the world! We are making foundational policy choices based on pure unproven insane speculation!
The list is endless. The foolishness continuing, and many of the Republican Presidential candidates are like Mitt Romney...merely slightly less bad than what we already have. America is in so much trouble, in so many ways, that we can't afford Democratic -Light. We can't even afford Republican. We need a complete reversal which includes an immediate repeal of Obama Care, passage of a Balanced Budget Amendment, a sealing of our Southern border, shutting down of the federal Department of Education, a withdrawel from the Middle East. It's time to place America first in the White House. It's time to reassert American values in America.

Hi Mark.
When you are you going to realize that it is We the People who are at fault for the decline of morality in our society? Yes, I agree that there are failed policies that these politicians keep promoting and backing and yes, the globalism trends that are killing our nationalism and abortions that are killing our children (and will in turn kill our country); but, WE, the American people, you, me, our neighbors, Christians and non-Christians alike are the ones who wear the veils over our eyes while we mindlessly keep buying cheap crap from China; subscribe to (and thereby support) the cable companies that continually broadcast the filth you describe; shore up the steroid-using thugs who throw balls by buying their sneakers, football sweatshirts, beer, etc.; stand by while people's homes are stolen so that we can go watch our favorite teams in brand new football stadiums; give our nine-year-olds smartphones so they can download apps made from companies that send our jobs overseas. The list goes on and on and on...
The American people give the politicians all their power. It is how we spend our money that matters. And sacrifice. But who wants to miss their favorite game/TV show/movie/shopping spree, eh? Keep the mob entertained and you rule Rome. It's an easy rule-of-thumb to remember.
