Around 6:00 pm tonight, Wednesday, May 25, I received a phone call from Dick Morris's polling firm. I was asked ONE question: "Who is the best person to lead the country?" I replied: "You mean as President?" "Yes" she responded. My answer was simple: "Ron Paul." Her response was shocking "I've been hearing that name a lot." So, I said "Really? I'm surprised!" "Yes," she said, "I've been talking to people all over the country and Ron Paul has been mentioned by a lot of people; in fact the last person I spoke with also said Ron Paul." "Wow!" I said.
After that she tried to get me to donate money for an anti-Obama ad in USA Today. I declined because my car died and I am literally in the middle of purchasing a new one. So, long story short, I was SO EXCITED that people were actually naming Ron Paul as their candidate of choice! Last week I saw the O'Reilly Factor show when Bill specifically asked Dick Morris to conduct a poll to air on this week's show, so I ran downstairs and told my mother about the poll and what the woman told me. Tonight, we tuned into the 11pm O'Reilly Factor show and there was Dick Morris - and NO RON PAUL listed AT ALL! No Gary Johnson either. But Sarah Palin and John Huntsman were. WHAT?!?!? Palin is SO NOT RUNNING, and Huntsman? Are you kidding me? You might as well take all the worst qualities of Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney, roll them up into a ball and there you have John Huntsman. The good thing is that Pawlenty was near the bottom.
So, my prediction has come true: Ron Paul is OFFICIALLY BEING IGNORED BY THE MEDIA. BAD MOVE! Even my mother, who watches some local news, has noticed that Ron Paul is NEVER mentioned as a Republican candidate. Well guess what "LAMESTREAM MEDIA": Your gig is up - even my old mother who could never bring herself to vote Third Party in the past, no matter how hard I tried to convince her that voting for McCain (whom she hated) in NY was a waste in a Democrat state, last November voted LIBERTARIAN in the NY Governor's race. Even my mother has come to embrace Ron Paul over all the other absolutely atrocious Republican candidates. Job well done, "Lamestream" press! You did what I could never do talking day and night about Ron Paul for two years during the 2007-2008 election cycle; the idiocy and ignorance of the media and Obama and Republican "Establishment" has turned my mother into a virtual Libertarian!
OK, off I go to vote in Bill O'Reilly's Faux Poll of 4 candidates. Bachmann will be my choice there, just because I really want to have some accurate semblence of what voters (at least O'Reilly viewers) actually think. So, I encourage all Ron Paul / Gary Johnson supporters to go and vote for Bachmann on the O'Reilly poll. I am assuming at least half of Bachmann's supporters are also Ron Paul supporters.

FOX news is all about misinformation and protecting their corporate sponsors so it comes as no surprise that they have no intent in giving Ron Paul the time of day.
By the way, while I was conducting my research for the article I wrote yesterday, I had to go to an NBC interview in order to find a quote from Karl Rove even mentioning Ron Paul. In the two O'Reily interviews I saw, he wasn't even mentioned. When Ron Paul was mentioned, Karl Rove complained about the candidate's age being the major factor in his non-electability while rolling his eyes at the same time.
Bottom line: Ron Paul has no friends at Fox News or within the GOP Establishment.

I couldn't agree more, Natalie. I also was called by the Dick Morris people, ostensibly for a 'Poll'. I had the same experience as your mother, as I am a Ron Paul supporter. That's where the nightmare began... I now get all sorts of 'Donation Requests', 'Book Offers' and pseudo polling calls that are really just thinly-disguised vehicles to raise money for Dickie-Boy's political organization. He consistently ignores Ron Paul, just as he did during the 2008 campaign. He pushes for whatever candidate his financial backers want pushed, and (viola) that candidate ALWAYS figures prominently in his polls! He is in the same league as another FOX Political shill, Frank Luntz. The 'Focus Group' that Frank ran after the first Republican Debate was a shameless con-job designed to boost former KC Federal Reserve President and Hamburgermeister Herman Cain- to the exclusion of every other candidate.
