In a previous article on Nolan Chart I suggested to Sarah that Newt could be an excellent choice for Vice President...I was wrong.

"All of us have a responsibility to pay for healthcare.  And I think there are ways to do it to make most libertarians relatively happy.  I've said consistently that you ought to have some requirement that you have health insurance, or post a bond, or in some way you are going to indicate you will be held accountable."  - Newt Gingrich on Meet the Press

Gingrich is worried about “libertarians” but doesn’t seem to be worried about the rest of us.  He seems to be ignoring the Tea Party, the Republican Congress elected in the last election, and the 26 states which have taken Obama Care to Court.  Clearly Gingrich has come out of the closet and declared that government should and must have the authority to force individuals to purchase health care!  This is absolutely contrary to the free market, and absolutely contrary to individualliberty.  Further, it grants unlimited power to the federal government.  And even more important then all of this, it robs the American people of choice. Gingrich is in  effect saying, the fight's over. Newt is now acting like a lawyer, instead of a leader.  All he is concerned with is the “how” something is done, not whether it be done or not.

Folks, if we allow the United States government to establish that we must purchase health insurance, there is absolutely nothing else they will not be able to force us to buy.  In effect this would be, or will be the end of economic liberty.

Newt is wrong.  He has been taken down the road.  His wrongness on this must be rejected immediately.  Do we oppose Obama Care or don’t we?  Will we accept a modified Obama care> Are we only voting for a Republican to tinker with Obama Care?

It’s the same problem with Mitt Romney. These Republicans have decided in favor of Obama, and are only promising a better way…

Duck, as i write this our government debt ceiling is being struck.  National health care has NOT been implemented, and our nation is bankrupt.  I simply don't understand how President Obama, or any other serious politician in this nation can promise more and more spending while our credit card is about to be rejected.  We do not need to raise the debt limit. We need to cut govenremnt massively, significantly, and immediaitely.
