Osama Bin Laden is dead. So says Obama.
Shot through the head in Northern Pakistan. No pictures, no video.
And the American people flood the streets of New York City and Washington DC, cheering.
Are you KIDDING ME?
Buried at sea. What SEA? The Arabian Sea? All the way down on the southern border of Pakistan? Yeah right!
JFK Jr. and his wife and sister-in-law were buried at sea – AFTER the bodies were retrieved and autopsied, then, and ONLY THEN were they laid to rest in the water where their plane crashed.
Bin Laden is NOT a Viking. Vikings are buried at sea. The victims of “The Perfect Storm” were buried at sea (technically lost at sea).
More importantly, WHY?
To fuel the fires of the 9/11 Truthers?
Obama is the most arrogant, self-fulfilled person on the planet. He is NOT a leader! First refusing to show his birth certificate – something every American has needed to dig up in order to get a passport. And now he’s claiming that HE is responsible for killing Bin Laden?
Yet again, there is ZERO EVIDENCE!
They tested the DNA? Pu-lease!
Tell that to the families of the victims of 9/11. They had NO CHOICE but to rely on DNA and bits of body parts in order to hold memorial services for their friends and relatives.
And now the Obama Administration is trying to legitimize this action by citing MUSLIM LAW? You have GOT to be kidding me!
The United States Military washed and wrapped his body and said PRAYERS over it? WHAT?!?!?
If Bin Laden was a Catholic, do you really believe that the Catholic Church would have insisted that he, a TERRORIST, deserves a “proper Christian burial?” NEVER!
Come on, read the Iliad. Even Hector was not treated with honor by the Greeks. He was torn apart and desecrated in revenge for 12 days. Obama is NO real leader. A REAL leader would have followed on the heels (pun intended) of Achilles and let the dogs and vultures devour Bin Laden’s flesh!
A REAL leader would have brought Bin Laden’s body back to Lower Manhattan, let We, the People tar and feather it, cut off his head, attach his arms to one subway train, his legs to another, and then send the trains along their merry way – one to New Jersey, the other towards Brooklyn. Then his head would be bronzed and impaled on the transmission pole atop the Freedom Tower.
That is what a REAL LEADER would have done!
As it stands now, we once again see the media blindly bowing down at the feet of Big Brother, asking no questions, taking things at face value. Fox News is jumping for joy that Bin Laden is “dead,” and MSNBC’s Morning Joe had that Boston Irish Liberal guy giddily praising Obama, nearly having an orgasm over his “Leadership skills.” Pu-lease!

The thing that strikes me about the DNA is that, in most conventional DNA testing (for criminal trials, etc.), they usually need 5-10 days to complete the testing. I wonder how were they able to get "99.9%" accuracy as claimed in such a short time?

Tonight on Special Report with Bret Bair (sp?) they even brought this up - How DID they do the DNA test so fast? They even said the video "evidence" must be presented ASAP!
Funny, the FBI has had Ocean Parkway (off Long Island) blocked off for weeks on end over the past few months (turning a 30 min. commute into 1.5 hours), and they have taken forever to run DNA tests to identify over 10 victims and find the Serial Killer. When they said "Buried at Sea" that was immediately what I thought about - the murdering genius who was too stupid to hop in a boat and dump those bodies on the other side of Captree Island - into the ocean where the sharks would have eaten all the evidence!
If Bin Laden really is dead, WHY IN THE WORLD would they destroy the evidence? It makes absolutely NO SENSE!

Just to clarify, I DO respect the US Military. I do not question for one second that they would kill Bin Laden. In fact, I'd kill the guy myself if I had the chance. In fact, if they were ordered NOT to kill him, that would be an extremely difficult task.
I actually feel BAD for the military, IF the story is true. If I was on that ship and forced to treat that MONSTER with any form of respect I'd be hurling over the side of the boat at best, more likely ripping the body to shreds.
For this, Obama deserves ZERO RESPECT. To put our dedicated troops through years of miserable warfare and casualties and then ORDER THEM to treat the perpetrator with such UNDUE respect is DISGUSTING!
This act is nothing more than political pandering in an (almost) election year. Worse than that, it's politically stupid! What American with a BRAIN actually thinks that destroying the evidence of Bin Laden's death is a good idea? What American would willingly submit our troops to the TORTURE of washing his body, wrapping it in linen and then PRAYING a MUSLIM prayer over it? None that I know of.
Whew! And I thought the Republicans might have a tough election ahead! Thankfully no telepromter can overcome this fiasco!
Actually, sadly, this event is likely to help Obama's re-election chances immensely. I don't think most Americans are going to be too upset about the way his body was disposed of so quickly. The celebrations in the streets and general outpouring of approval for the event shows this is likely. Heck, when even Rush Limbaugh rushes to the microphone to say, "Thank God for President Obama" because he sent in the Navy seals and got bin Laden with only minimal "collateral damage" rather than carpet-bombing Pakistan, as some of his military advisers apparently wanted to do, it becomes very clear that Obama will emerge from this smelling like a rose to most Americans.

Sadly, I do think you may be right about this :(
I've been surfing the news channels and reading through news stories online. Man, Americans sure are dumb! I even had to present my mother detail by detail all the "evidence" that didn't add up until she was willing to question what really happened.
On Fox and Friends this morning they asked if this will this give Obama a bump in the polls? Yes. Then they said it will give him leverage fighting Republicans over raising the Debt Ceiling. WHAT?!?!? What does Bin Laden have to do with the debt ceiling? They think the American people will now like him and consider him a real "Commander in Chief" so they'll be ok with not cutting spending. What kind of logic is that?
MSNBC - forget it! All Hail the Chief!
Online there were some stories about people who were very mad about the "Burial at Sea." Apparently Muslims across the globe, both here and abroad feel it was a humiliating non-Islamic burial because he died on land and only Muslims who die far from land can be buried at sea. Way to go Obama!
But one Muslim, from the Islamic Forum for Democracy, said the same thing I said. Then there are the families of 9/11 victims - many of them seem really, really mad about the destruction of evidence / Muslim burial. But reading through comments on lots of articles, many people were attacking the 9/11 victims, some agreed that we should have the evidence, and most people take this all at face-value because "A Navy Seal identified Bin Laden, therefore it must be true." Yeah, well, no one had ever heard of Navy Seal Team 6 before yesterday, so just because Obama SAYS it was the Seals and the media reports it does not make it true. Again, I have absolutely NO DOUBT The Seals can and would do this, as skillfully as the media / Obama says they did. I just cannot imagine a Navy Seal coming up with the 'brilliant' idea of destroying the evidence via an Islamic burial at sea. Sorry, it just does not add up.
So, if the Muslims who believe this burial was an affront to Islam and the 9/11 families keep speaking out and questioning this "burial at sea", then maybe more ordinary Americans will start to ask the obvious questions. As it stands now, Obama is getting all the credit.
Yeah, and there is no inflation because i-phones cost less today than a year ago! Yum-yum, tasty i-phone!

AHA! NOW I get it! On another article I commented and it kept bl--ping out normal words. I was so confused. But now I see the problem. Apparently this forum program edits out any word that has three letters in a row - even as part of a completely benign word. Such as the following:
P-A-S-S
C-L-A-S-S
J-A-S-S-E-R
See those 3 letters at the end of the first two words? Well, it's pretty cheesy, but all words with those 3 letters in that order get bleeped out!

I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS! Lindsey Graham was just on Hannity and said the same thing - they NEVER should have properly "buried" or destroyed the evidence in the Sea! He thinks the body should have been saved and the identity verified by Scotland Yard and other non-American authorities.

This is the FIRST TIME I have agreed with Lindsey Graham! Normally he makes my stomach churn just as much as Obama does.
