"Boots On The Ground" For Ron Paul In Iowa

It's a compelling image of devotion: Students brave single-digit, sub-freezing weather to carry Ron Paul's message of freedom to Iowans in the dwindling hours before Thursday's Presidential Caucus. Here is a "snapshot" from "the front".

 IOWA - New Year's Day 2007

Note: The information in this article has been garnered from undisclosed sources "at the front." Presented for your most sober consideration, here is a "snapshot" of devotion to Ron Paul and his message of Freedom.

Picture this: nearly 300 students, leaving the comforts of Christmas vacation at home and traveling across the country (in some cases, even around the world) to Iowa. Attending multi-hour training sessions. Riding for hours to be scattered across the face of the entire state, sleeping in "camp style" accommodations. Marching door to door through snow drifts up to four feet deep. Enduring bone-chilling temperatures of 9 degrees. Politely passing out literature about Ron Paul to receptive Iowans.

What would drive a student to these lengths? How could a typical college student come to the place of willingly sacrificing the traditional American holiday comforts and pleasures? Could it be, as Ron Paul has said so often, "Freedom is popular!"? The message and hope of Liberty is a compelling one. The danger of unchecked government growth is clear and present. The prize of restored freedom in America is great.

Speaking quite personally, I have to believe this: If I were to answer a knock at my door and discover a smiling young person who had given up Christmas vacation to walk through four-foot drifts of snow in sub-freezing weather to greet me with information, I would surely want to know what in the world could be motivating them!

Student volunteers, from the bottom of my heart and soul, Thank You! God Bless You! I salute  you, along with all the other "freedom fighters" now working in Iowa for us all!

You can just hear the Lame Stream Media now...

"Sure, sure. They'll skip a comfy holiday, travel long distances, sleep in 'camp style' accommodations, march door to door through snow drifts up to four feet deep, endure bone-chilling temperatures of 9 degrees to pass out literature about Ron Paul.....but they probably won't vote."

It will be interesting to watch the caucus results and see what transpires.

Keep an eye on http://www.libertybroadcastnetwork.org/ for real-time updates on the Iowa caucus results. It's a private effort to tally and cross-check the officially announced caucus releases.

(Like the Lame Stream Media would EVER lie to us.)

A big THANKS to all the volunteers. True Americans one and all.

Go Ron Paul!
