Borders, Language, Culture, Michael Savage is an excellent spokesman for America!
Conservative talk show hosts are different, but the most different may be the most reflective of middle America! by Mark Vogl

Some of the very best food has the strongest, most unique taste. Dr. Michael Savage is like that. His show begins about dinner time, and he takes some getting used too. Dr. Savage is not for the young or faint of heart. As his promotional says, "beware of psychological nudity."
Dr. Savage is the most ethnic of the conservative talk show hosts I have listened to. He is Jewish and originally from the Big Apple, New York City. With a PhD., Dr. Savage is probably the most educated, and more importantly, most learned of the conservative talk show hosts. He is rough and gruff, and not easy with those who call in and oppose his view. Where Rush will let callers talk themselves right into foolishness, Dr. Savage is literally savage with those who demonstrate foolishness.
For a long time I could only take Michael in small doses, kinda like a strong whiskey. But, with time you develop a strange affection for this man who truly loves America, and sees the multiple threats to the American Way, most of them domestic in origin. Like all conservative talk show hosts there is a loyalty to Israel...but in Mike's case, his own heritage explains this. And because he is so educated, especially with respect to the Bible, he helps me understand why the US - Israeli alliance is so important to the world.
But where Michael really stands out, where he really goes above and beyond, is his precise understanding of the multiple wrongs (threats) which are occurring within the US. In his most recent book, Trickle Up Poverty, Savage lists more than thirty policy initiatives which are vital to the long term health of the United States. Among these are sealing the border, getting our government's fiscal house in order, recreating the American business ethic and leadership, and rekindling the American spirit of individualism and practical religious faith.
The Obama Administration is responsible for sending untold arms and weapons into Mexico. This is not some wild conservative allegation, though the main stream media seems to be avoiding the story. And we now find that it’s possible the Obama Administration, with Hillary Clinton in the forefront may be siding with Al Qaida in Libya! These national security gaffes are serious, but the msot serious threats to our national security come from domestic decisions, like the imposition of Obama Care.
The spectrum of conservative talk show hosts reach out to much, but not all of the Americans who believe in John Wayne's America. None of them, including Michael, will reach out to the Southern white male...who is one of the core constituencies of the conservative movement. None of them will, because they fear being painted a racist or a rube. Though neither of these of descriptions fit the modern Southern male, ...the stereotype is one of the few politically correct prejudiced views remaining.
In addition, Mike and I disagree about Sarah Palin. He doesn’t believe she can win. I would argue, if she can’t win, America is lost.
But, as I was saying, the conservative talk show hosts reach across the broad spectrum of the conservative movement. As I have outlined in other articles, I believe the American conservative movement emanates from several different starting points including: the Religious Right from the Bible, hawks (defenders of US and Israeli national security), capitalists and American main street, strict Constitutional constructionists, 2d Amendment - NRA types, and law and order folks to mention a few. If you listen to the different hosts, you hear each one of them reaching to some of these segments, but all together, cumulatively they reach to all of these.,
Savage may do the best at articulating a modern populist - conservative agenda. For me, Rush is the leader, but Michael is an architect, or the brains of the outfit.
