Will it take Arab methods to get American politicians to let us drill?
Revolts in Libya are blamed for rising prices in the US, but we know that's just smoke... when will American policy makers release American energy resources? by Mark Vogl

We are literally counting the days til Obama can be legally removed from office...but will the country make it?
But its not just Obama. Where is the Republican plan to Drill Here, Drill Now? How mad do we have to get? How bad does the economy have to get? Will it take another war for American policy makers to get off their butts and pass legislation to open up American resource development? What do we have to do to get the attention of those in office?
Starting with the repeal of Obama care, we need to get America back to work. We need to open new drilling fields. We need to build refineries and new pipelines. For the time being we need to suspend federal and state taxes on gasoline so that the country can move. Our economy is depedent on cheap fuel and food. As those commodities go up in price, money is sucked away from the rest of the economy.
Does democracy work? Or are we as broken as the Middle East states where dictators rule?
Why is the American government focusing on all the wrong things? We had the best health care system in the world...so they spent years debating that. But, we have billions of barrels of untapped oil, prices are rising and they do nothing!
We have an open border where illegal drugs and illegal immigrants flow across...they do nothing!
We have countless Americans out of work after policies passed in Washington encourage corporations to move over seas. How bout raise the tariffs, tax the overseas people making billions off the richest consumer market in the world?
Does demoncrary work?
Or do the Arabs have the correct method for changing how their nation is governed?

Voltaire once said, "Common sense is not so common". I think it is true, we need to be focusing on the economy and energy indepence right now, and stop fighting over Obama care.

Mark,
What you are proposing is not Democracy. It's an Isolationist State where a ruling class, (one that happens to agree with you) ignores all voices of dissent, both majority and minority, and pushes forward with a frightening agenda of Orwellian proportions.
