Topic: Presidential Campaign 2008
All Presidential Debates Should Be Limited To Serious Candidates Only

This may seem harsh but I sorta agree with Fox that these gatherings should be limited to four only.

After a complete analysis of a serious poll of 232,000 professed Republican voters from all 50 states of the United States it has become clear that one of the candidates MUST GO.

When the following candidates are evaluated: Giuliani, Huckabee, McCain, Paul and Romney, these are the essentials:

[1] This candidate when you consider who is fourth or fifth in voting preference trails in that spot more than any other with 39 of a possible 50.

[2] This candidate is dead last in 31 of the 50 states.

[3] This candidate may have spent more money that any other in his campaign.

[4] This candidate is dead last in the state where his father served as Governor for two terms back in the 1960’s.

[5] In a state founded upon the religious principles that he seems to profess he is not able to establish a clear lead with the voters.

[6] This candidate is not able to establish a clear lead in the state where he was once Governor.

[7] In states contiguous to this state which will know him better than most other states, he is showing poor performance in two and is dead last in three.

THIS MAN MUST GO.

In case you have not been able to figure it out from the above then I must name him: Mitt Romney must go.

As an after thought there is a man who is either first or second in all 50 of the states and has the clear lead in 38 of the states. His name is Ron Paul.

Love it, Jim! Thumbs WAAAY up! :)

The sooner we get rid of these "also-rans" the more we can focus on real candidate(s) and real issues! :)

Nice observation here!

Great post Jim and the statistical data here makes the most sense to me!  Ron Paul for the win!

Makes sense to me Jim.

What I can't understand is why a network that lives and dies on ratings and viewership would want to alienate the one candidate that would guarantee huge ratings.

Why would they want to eliminate the only candidate that has an opposing view? They will wind up with a boring 90 minute show featuring 5 men parroting the FoxNews war propaganda. The only excitement will be watching each one try to establish that even though he may be dishonest, he is not quite as dishonest as the other four.

Here's a sample of their forum:

Chris Wallace asks: Where do you stand on the honourable war we are fighting in Iraq where we are liberating millions of depressed people and bringing democracy to a democratically starved region of the world?

[Romney]: On the advice of several of my lawyers, I'm for escalating the war. Besides, as I did with the corrupt olympics, I can clean up those corrupt Iraqis. And, if I get approval from my lawyers, I'll also attack Turkey to stop them from messing with our Kurd force in the North.

[McCain]: Well, you know I have been for the war all along but I think Bush hasn't managed the war very good. I know how to manage war and the first thing I'll do is double the number of troops as I have advised before. I'm also committed to invading Pakistan too.

[Giuliani]: As you know, I am 9/11 tested. I'll am the only one that will increase private security forces too! I recommend tripling the Blackwater presence in Irag. That will scare the hell out of Al-queda.

[Huckabee]: We broke it so we own it. As you know, my primary advisor is the head of the CFR so you know I'm for war, war and more war! We will invade Iran and probably a couple more nations while we're at it. They're all broke anyway, so we'll have to fix it. That's the American way and you know I'm all about what's best for America.

[Thompson]: Well, I haven't given it much thought, but the frank Luntz support group said more war is a good thing so I'll go along with the will of the people.

[Chris Wallace]: Thank you. The folks now see how vastly you differ on the war, tell how you differ from each other.

[Romney]: Huckabee is more crooked than I am.

[McCain]: More democrats are for me than anyone else, plus, Huckabee is definitely more crooked than me.

[Guiliani]: My kids tell me that I'm more crooked than any of these other guys running, except Huckabee, of course.

[Huckabee]: If these guys think I'm more crooked than they are now, just wai unitl I'm elected. I'll show them.

[Thompson]: Wake me up when this is over would you Huckabee? Since you're more crooked than I am.

[Chris Wallace]: Well that concludes our fair and balanced forum, good night everybody.

The dollar slid across the board on Friday as data showing a 9 percent decline in sales of new U.S. homes last month heightened concern about the economy, putting the greenback on track for its worst week in more than a year.
The housing report, which was weaker than economists had expected, also bolstered the case for more Federal Reserve interest rate cuts in 2008. Earlier this week, the S&P/Case-Shiller index showed a record decline in U.S. home prices in October.

This is what's happening to YOUR house. All the 'money' and 'equity' you thought you had saved - eliminated! The equity through falling house prices - and the money because we are DEBASING OUR CURRENCY. That low fed rate you're reading about gets created by printing money  and lending it to people. With more money, the money YOU have is worth LESS. So your money is worth less and your property is worth less. We are ALL BEING ROBBED, this is NOT the time to worry about political affiliations. When your HOUSE is on fire, call the Fire Department! Dr. Paul has the only developed plan to massively cut federal spending and restore stability to the dollar! I'm only saying this because I'm a homeowner too. I don't want to lose the thirty years of saving my house represents. I don't need my property taxes sky high because it's worth was inflated artificially! I don't want my savings in mutual funds and CDs savaged by inflation. People, if it's happening to me it's happening to you too. YOUR HOUSE IS ON FIRE! PUT OUT THE FIRE! He's the ONLY one running that has a HOPE of being able to deal with this.
