Gays are boycotting Chic - fil - a because they are Pro Family, time for the Christian Right to buy chicken!
Economics is exactly where many of the battles of the CultureWar in the United States should be fought. Christians need to use their numbers, and this is a perfect test case.
Despite decades of social engineering in schools, on TV, through public pressure, Homosexuality is still considered a perversion. In every state where the people have been given a voice, homosexuality has lost at the ballot box by more than 2 - 1.
Many see the normalization of homosexuality as just the first step towards multiple partner families, and complete chaos in the social structure.
So here's a linein the sand. It's time for Christians to step up and send a message to all the other fast food chains. Start using moral values as a feature for consumer decisions. Many corporations, like Ford Motor Company for one, have joined the Gay Chamber of Commerce. For that decision and their response to my inquiry about their decision....that they are for diversity, I have decided for diversity in my consumer choices. I have always owned a Ford my whole life, so now I will practicediversity whenever I purchase a car or truck. No matter what, it won't be a Ford!
If we vote No at the ballot box and win, and the men in the black robes repeatedly assert their power to reverse the will of the majority...despite no legal words in the Constitution...than we have to topple these social engineers through economic decisions

Are you saying you want Christians to "impose their values" on others non-coercively, ie without committing any aggression? That's very libertarian of you, and I have to compliment you for thinking of it.

Hi Mark.
This is one of the few times that I actually agree with everything you say in this article. I absolutely agree that everyone (not only Christians) should use their money to reflect their values. Outside of actually "living" our values, it is perhaps the best way to make our voices known, and the best way to actually get the attention of companies that manufacture goods, services and entertainment venues. Everyone follows the money in our culture. Christians can talk all day long about being against that or for that...but it is in how they spend their money that controls what goes on in our society. It is really just cause and effect. If enough people stopped contributing their money to a particular company or industry (using your example of Ford Motor Co.), the company would probably want to know why and, once they found out why, they would probably change course to whichever way the wind blows (or the money goes). It's really that simple.
Many people say that boycotts don't work, but trust me. If the gay community gets behind something, in the way of a boycott OR a sponsorship or endorsement, it gets attention. If enough Christians get behind something (or boycott it), it can also get attention. But the main part of this equation that pulls any weight is the MONEY. They don't get the money, they go away. Some say it's not that simple, but I disagree.
