Huck Ducks Question: "WWJB?" While Media Smears Ron Paul Supporters MSNBC and CNN rush to associate Ron Paul supporters with arrestees while "Who Would Jesus Bomb?" is a question Huck refuses to answer.by creator

Both MSNBC and CNN jumped on the bandwagon today when activist anti-war protesters and Ron Paul supporters mingled outside the Huckabee campaign headquarters in Des Moines.
"THREE ARRESTED AT HUCK HQ" reads the MSNBC headline, followed by the misleading insinuation that some of those arrested were Dr. Paul's supporters.
The "Protesters block Huckabee" headline from CNN, while slightly milder, still did not offer any greater clarity in the article which followed. CNN continued by reporting the arrest of "three people who managed to break inside," with no specificity as to who was arrested.
MSNBC later on published more details, but the first headline probably already accomplished some of it's intended damage.
The "news media" sure paints with a broad brush when it wants to, doesn't it? Have you ever seen them so quick to include Ron Paul's name in a news piece? Wouldn't it be nice if CNN and MSNBC were "Johnny on the spot" to report on Dr. Paul and his supporters all the time?
Meanwhile, Huckabee somehow ducked the question: "Who Would Jesus Bomb?", opting rather to have three protesters arrested.
How about it, Governor? How do your Christian principles support preemptive war on Iraq? What does your "theological training" tell you about bombing Baghdad?

I hope they were Ron Paul supporters. I don't consider those who practice civil disobedience and are willing to risk arrest shameful. And I have news for you, neither does Dr. Paul. Why don't you grow up?! If the news media intends to paint Paul anti-war, well gosh, that would be tragic.
Fascist, maybe this author has a problem with it because it is simply a lie? Ron Paul's offices were in the same building. His supporters just happen to have been there. It was NOT unusual for them to be there.
If Ron Paul's supporters HAD been involved, I would be disappointed, but not ashamed. And while you might think this looks good, it doesn't to many. Not for a rival candidate to do. The media is simply trying to save face for Huckabee over the whole "I'm gonna trick the media into running my attack ad for free." On that note, it sure didn't take much before Huckabee bit the hand that fed him. Without the media riding him around in a chariot for the last month, people would still be saying Hucka-who? And he took advantage of them.
The media are just trying to bail their golden boy out by refocusing the news.
Was this going on at the same time Huck was telling us that he was too "moral" and "holy" to show an attack ad while insisting that the MSM reporters present at the press conference view that same ad?
I think even the MSM, dumb as they are sometimes, picked up on the fact that this was an attempt to use them. After all, they ran Huck's Christmas ad with commentary over and over again...Huck figured that they would latch onto that attack ad and do the same. It is worth millions of dollars to Huck to try to manipulate the press into giving him free publicity.
How transparent. Pontius Pilate used a similar strategy long, long time ago.....Â
An update on this. The "disowned" ad made its way to YouTube and into the mainstream media while Huck laments that "he doesn't know how that could have happened"! Merry Christmas to Huck!
This is exactly what Huckabee was hoping for: FREE PUBLICITY! I can easily see this "leak" originating from his own campaign headquarters and the press is sometimes too dumb to realize when they are being manipulated. I am from Arkansas and have watched the duplicity of this man for the past ten years. What you hear and see is NOT what you get with Huckabee.
Judicial Watch has him on their top ten list of most corrupt politicians for pity's sake! 6. Governor Mike Huckabee (R-AR): Governor Huckabee enjoyed a meteoric rise in the polls in December 2007, which prompted a more thorough review of his ethics record. According to The Associated Press: “[Huckabee’s] career has also been colored by 14 ethics complaints and a volley of questions about his integrity, ranging from his management of campaign cash to his use of a nonprofit organization to subsidize his income to his destruction of state computer files on his way out of the governor’s office.” And what was Governor Huckabee’s response to these ethics allegations? Rather than cooperating with investigators, Huckabee sued the state ethics commission twice and attempted to shut the ethics process down.
I guess for Ron Paul fans it could make a lot of sense to look
at a number of topics, ever since they are not ever complaining left-wing intellectuals, but rather have a sense of humor and common sense (in hindsight of the media):
50% of all money spent on advertising is known to be a wasted, a loss (and sometimes all 100% are a waste)
- that to some degree advertising has gone to far, is a bit too
much, like on TV and not that popular at all - most viewers try to skip it;
- that most of the newspapers and magazines are faced with
a steady decline of readers and ad revenue (and that one or the other sooo big and foul mouthed reporter or columnist
might be axed in the not too distant future, because of necessary cost cutting)
suggested search words (on the net):
+ad rates up circulation down+
+newspaper revenue+ : every month, between the fifth and
the tenth, media companies report about themselves, their
(declinging readers) and (normally falling) ad revenue
one has to click on NEWS for those articles
+political dollars+ : that's a theme for itself, plenty of
articles and whatever can be found with that search words,
including articles dealing with the strategies of the media to
get hold of as many ''political dollars'' as possible; it is a somewhat irrational chapter altogether, best summed up:
