A great Christmas gift, Going Rogue by Sarah Palin

She hasn't gone away, quite to the contrary she has even had an entire television show airing about her Alaska home!

Going Rogue is an excellent autobiography of Sarah Palin. With more than 40% of Americans identifying themselves as conservatives, the Palin book would make an excellent Christmas gift.

The book is a terrific introduction to the real Sarah Palin.  She is first and foremost an American.  Sarah had not been tainted by an Ivy League college education, or overly influenced by international corporations. Her heart and soul is as a mother, wife, and patriot leader. As you read through her life story you will find her to be audacious, energetic, intelligent and with dogged determination to solve problems. One very large problem at the time of her governorship was the refusal by oil companies, holding the leases to Alaska's oil reserves to develop them.

Alaska oil reserves are owned by the people of Alaska.  When oil is extracted Alaskans get checks!  Money in their pockets.  The problem was the oil companies were holding the leases and not developing the resource. People were receiving nothing.  Palin attempted to encourage oil companies, when that didn't work she threatened lawsuits to take back the leases. When that didn't work...she went to court, won the cases!

Checks to the people of Alaska started to flow as a result of Sarah's determination!

Sarah has been as open as possible about who she is, not just in her book, but in the television show presently airing.  She does not put on airs, doesn’t pretend to be something she is not.  Sarah is real.  I love her for her courage, openness, patriotism, and positive approach to life. Electing Sarah as President would provide a new faith for me in the American people.  One that I lost with the election of Bill Clinton and have not recovered since.

The media, liberals, special interests, and international corporations are scared to death of Sarah because her essence rests with God, not with them.

If you want to give the conservative you love a great present...get Going Rogue by Sarah Palin!

Mark, Like Lady Thatcher Ms. Palin has huts-pa. Harry Truman once said all you need is common sense to be President. She has some of that also too. She looks a little green in the country, but she's no dude. Been busy having and raising 5 kids, she was elected a mayor then a governor, jousted with good ole boy Rinos and Democrats and winning. Taking on the oil companies and winning. Ran for VP, well can't win them all. Then she has the unmitigated gall to have a TV show that say's, here I am this is who I am. Personally I think when she endorsed McCain she first told him to knock off the progressive crap and to a large extent he seems to have done just that. Just thought I'd throw that in for S&G's. She has principals and the courage of her convictions and if you don't like it! and pilgrim, she ain't hard to look at either.
