Are America's leaders telling us where we are going?
President Barrack Obama's birth place may be a question for many Americans, but is it distracting us from the larger question; Are America's leaders, as a whole, Americans? by Mark Vogl

I believe that American political campaigns can be about avoiding the fundamental issues which are affecting or driving our nation. (Massive illegal immigration could only happen under the nose of the federal government.) And in this time, if I could ask the major candidates one question, it might be: Are you an American?
In fact, within the governance of America, I believe politics is seen by many of America's power brokers as mere theatre. I believe they see politics as a way to distract the American public from what is really occurring, from the power brokers real objectives. And these power brokers are on both the left and the right.
I don't say this because of the questions concerning Barrack Obama's birth certificate. However, the fact that that is a national question helps illustrate my much larger fear, that America's leaders priorities may not be the American people, American national security and American prosperity
Whether you are an international corporation, or a small supplier - vendor to one of those companies, it would be in your interest to enact aspects of globalism, aspects which may not be beneficial to a completely unrelated business in the building next door. And not developing US energy reserves, reserves (which are presently calculated to be capable of meeting our nation’s needs for three hundred years!) are not developed because of the objections of the impotent green lobby, but because of the powerful pro-Israeli lobby which needs an America dependent on Middle East oil, and international trade.
Open borders and tens of millions of illegals went a long way towards fueling the Bush economy. Each illegal provided a demand for housing, appliances, cars, food, health care, education, etc. Yes they were on the bottom of the economic pile, but non the less they were a flood which lifted all ships. And simultaneously they depressed menial labor costs. Supply and demand, in terms of labor, went out of whack.
And illegals helped man the Armed Forces of a nation at war because of a handful of lunatics. An entire new federal department was created...though the border was left unguarded!
Meanwhile, American concerns, the concerns of the American people went unaddressed. Good paying blue collar jobs went overseas. Technologies developed at tax payer expense during the Cold War found their way into foreign hands. Credit flowed freely to buy foreign goods. Deficits and debts, financed by foreigners rose in unprecedented amounts.
The American marketplace, the most wealthy market in the entire world, was opened to foreigners, and in exchange we won the right to discuss trade with other nations, many of them third world with little or no real purchasing power, a very shrewd business deal by those who attended Harvard and Yale.
America's future appears very bleak. And it is bleak because America's leaders did not watch out for our nation, our won people. They traded the great wealth, potential and purchasing power of the US to the world.
Some have talked about the need for a new second party, one to replace either the Republican or the Democrat Party. I agree with those who see a need, and submit that the new party should be an America first party. Its goals should be to secure US borders, re-take the American place for American industry and business, institute English only, promote exploration and development of US natural resources, and re-enter the world stage as one nation.
Are there any Americans out there who could do this? Are there any who have the integrity of George Washington? Are there any out there who can see clearly US interests?

From the article -- "I don't say this because of the questions concerning Barrack Obama's birth certificate. There is no need to be reticent about questioning the official birth story of Mr. Obama. He actually was born August 4, 1961 at the Coast Province General Hospital in Mombasa, Kenya and not in Hawaii as he claims. A high resolution copy of his Kenyan birth certificate is available for free download at WasObamaBornInKenya.com. Lucas Daniel Smith personally obtained a certified copy of the birth certificate on February 19, 1961 directly from the birth hospital and now has that document in his possession.
Mr. Obama very likely could not be classified as a 'natural born Citizen'. The Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 Constitutional requirement for POTUS eligibility was drafted specifically to help prevent what you correctly identify as misdirected priorities of our nations leader.
